Today was a long long day...starting with up at 5 am cleaning the house to get ready for game night..cleaned the carpet, bathrooms, did laundry...THEN we went in to have second breakfast and go grocery shopping. That involves driving all over town and stopping at several markets for several different sale items...Always fun! Then game night didn't turn out to involve any games at all. Jus****ching the nascar race and visiting with everyone. I had a really good time...now if I can remember all that I ate!

List:

B: oatmeal, soymilk, tvp, pb2 (out of applesauce)

2B: pastrami omelet with swiss cheese..yum. cottage cheese (a bite) and a half a slice of whole wheat toast.

L: tried to eat a sandwich on whole wheat. 1/2 an oz of jack cheese, can of tuna with pesto romano cheese dressing on almost two slices of good quality whole grain wheat bread..

D: 4 oz lean ground beef, 1/2 oz american processed cheese, 1/2 tablespoon mayo..

The list doesn't show as much snacking as I really did for dinner. No dessert but it sure looked good. Banana creme pie. or angel food cake with strawberries in syrup with whip cream..none for me, thanks. I had a cup of coffee but that's all..

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1610
Fat: 73.8
Carbs: 86.5
Protein: 149.5

The fat might have been a bit higher than normal but that's okay. I also had more calories than this because I had a few sips of a wine cooler..for the most part it was iced tea for me but Hawaiian Wine Coolers are just really tasty when it's hot. And I had chip crumbs (my son leaves the bag nearly empty but you don't know all you have is crumbs until you open the bag...brat!) and a couple of old stale pork rinds..tossed them too. I know I had three sugar free cookies too. It was an off the charts sort of day.

I still didn't do too bad. I'm not sure this sort of eating would be a good idea for any long period of time but I think one day isn't going to sink my boat completely...I'm not going to feel guilty because it's not as if I do this sort of mindless snacking every day.

How did you do?
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I had a wonderful day. I have been divorced for 15 years. It was a nasty divorce. He was cheating. I have 2 kids. So it was not that easy. He moved kinda far away. So we don't talk so much. Well he called yesterday about 12. and wanted to know if I wanted to go for a ride he was in town. I said yeah. He came got me and we rode all over the place. I live at the bottom of morrow mountain so we went up there and went to see some of his family I had not see in 15 years. Of course they thought I looked like I was dying. They kept asking me what meds was I on. LOL.. when I told my 23 year old son and my 18 year old daughter they couldn't believe it. Then they teased me Mom and Pops are getting back together. He left about 5:00.

B...A pot of coffee with creamer.

S...some unsweet tea. No food.

L...Turkey and swiss and mater with my dukes mayo on white bread.

D..Healthy choice chicken dinner

S...bunch of tater chips. That is my one weakness. I love chips.

I got in some liquids but not all that I need. I got to do better.

Be blessed

Amy

YOu did eat well today! Awesome. You need to get a circle of friends and do stuff...it seems to help some.

Yeah, they're gonna say stuff like that cuz they remember when you were alot bigger. My family even says they're worried that I'm anorexic...One of the girls at work said she thought I was...How can I be anorexic when I'm eating 1500 to 1800 calories a day? Crazy..

Now we do get along with my ex. We've been known to go out to lunch with them and my daughter says that's harder to wrap her head around than us feuding. She has all sorts of friends who have divorced parents and they DON'T get along at all. So she's not sure how to handle it that we can actually be friends. Funny, you can't win either way with kids.

Whether or not you're getting along with your ex-husband or not, you need to find a circle of friends of your own for morale support.
