Have A Nice Day
I don't have leg PAIN, but I have had leg cramps from the knee down to my toes, that literally curl my toes, and my foot as well. My labs are done on a regular basis and all of that is fine. I was also told all of the above, calcium, vitamin deficiency, potasium, eat a banana every night, etc. None of that works for me at all. I have had this issue for about 3 yrs now. I was even prescribed Quinine, which is for Malaria, and it has since been discontinued, so they gave me something else, which also does not work, so I stopped filling the prescription.
Personally, what I notice working for my cramps is walking my dogs at night, with my husband, on a regular basis. Once I do that, I usually dont have the cramps that night. But it is so sporatic, that I never know. Sometimes I freak my husband out by jumping out of bed with a bad cramp. Once it was so bad, in both legs, that I could not flatten my feet on the floor, and I passed out and hit my head on my nightstand. I passed out by straightening my legs, hence, locking the knees, and BOOM, hit the head on the furniture.
Your doctor should be looking into this for you. Good luck, hope they go away!
