Totals for the day:
Calories: 1419
Fat: 58.0
Carbs: 112.7

Well, that's the list and the numbers and I can probably add about 140 more calories with popcorn (which I'm craving) or tastykake (which I'm also craving..)
How did you do?

My friends father had a heart attack this morning so I volunteered to babysit her 2 young boys (ages 3 and 5) from 8 to 1:30 today. They have way too much energy. I told her they were my form of birth control because there isn't any way I'd have another baby! The bad part was that I snacked on a couple things just because they were eating it so my eating did not go as planned today.
Here's the damage..
B: 1/2 a waffle w/ sf syrup, 2 pork sausage links, 2 scrambled eggs w/ cheese
S: Handful of pretzels, string cheese
S: 2 bites of a hot dog, i guess about half of it ... so not needed
L: Smart Ones frozen dinner
D: Stuffed chicken breast & Cucumber slices w/ light ranch
S: Light Yogurt

That's it for me.. I'm slacking with my protein lately. I need to get some milk tomorrow.
She'd like me to start with adding at least 200 calories. I think I'm going to struggle with this, she thinks I'm going to have issues with malabsorbtion and may be one of those people that need to eat more. I still can't wrap my head around that they keep telling me to eat more. I feel like I eat all day.

I probably ate close to 2000, since I don't count my condiments (cream for coffee, light mayo etc)
Anyway, you could add some whole grains and fruit..Also, hidden calories like a tablespoon of butter with the potatoes or rice(or on the spaghetti before the sauce)...Tha'ts 100 calories right there and the fat is good for your skin..So do that twice a day and BAM...you got your 200 calories. ]
Keep after it. You can do it. It looks good from here. See ya.

Hey Girls, IT's FRIDAY ...
Dawn - on the sausage crust quiche, this is a great recipe, stats are pretty awesome:
Use a muffin pan or individual custard cups to make ( I use the cups so I can pop on a lid and store them easy )
Press 1 sausage pattie into the bottom of the cup and pre-bake about 15-20 minutes, then drain off the fat that has cooked out of the sausage...
Dice into very small pieces what you want in your quiches ( I like chicken, cheese, onions & mushrooms in mine but you can use whatever appeals to you )
Quiche egg choice ( I like to make my own with real eggs and cream, but egg beaters would be lower in fat and cals and easier )
Put the diced items in the cups, fill the balance of the cup with the quiche egg mix and bake about 20-25 minutes until the egg/filling is cooked thru
Cool, run a knife along the outer rim of the cup and store ( they slide out pretty easy cause there is still a llittle residual fat in the cup from the sausage...
Stats on mine : 232 cals, 15 fat, 3 carbs, 1 fiber, 15 protein...Keep in mind I'm using real eggs and real heavy cream so my fat is much higher than the egg beaters healthy alternative and I go for goat cheese which is another high fat item...You could easily reduce the fat and still keep this in great numbers and the carb count is super low...
Now onto my Thursday food:
B - buttery almond roca protein shake & 1 sausage link
S - coffee with carb countdown
L - 1 slice meatloaf, a small spoon of butter egg noodles and about 1/4 cup of gr beans-n-bacon
S - 1/4 serving of choc espresso beans
D - baked chicken breast with tandori rub and 1/2 cup gr beans-n-bacon
S - a serving of trail mix
