  Hi I made my goal 250 in 2007 to 130.5 2009...Now I need to learn to Maintain and not go any lower if possible..I thought I was doing pretty good till I got some exercise this week and lost 3 pounds just doing spring cleaning...

Maintainance mode is scary and takes some trial and error. It seems everyone is different so there's no set hard and fast rules on how to maintain. there's alot to factor in including info from the thread below on rebound weight gain that generally  happens between years 2-3. Just keep working to find that balance that will work for you! Stay healthy and eat well!!! Good Luck to You!!

Tracy is right about no rules.  I had an appointment with NUT yesterday because I'm struggling with not losing any more.  I want numbers, how many calories etc and all she keeps telling me is everyone is different and it's trial and error.  I like to have a guideline like I did for losing and it bothers me that it doesn't. I would think at 2 years and no gain you're doing pretty good maintaining.

  Whew, ok I was thinking along the lines of numbers, even with knowledge that everyone is different,.. I feel I am doing a pretty good job of maintaining after so long, other than the fact that in the last week I dropped from 135 my goal to 130.5... I really don't want to lose more, and I think I lost that because of all the exercise I been getting, and that's just spring cleaning...lol..
  So I guess its time to go back to the drawing board, or just quit worrying about it..

 All I can say is amen sistah! I set my goal at 165 cause it was the lowest weight I had achived during my adult life. I just kept going and am now down to 129.2. I still don't have an appetite, and forget to eat. The only time I eat much is when I am on the road, I snack cause I am bored. Then I get home and I am worried that I would have gained, then I have an almost 2 lb loss. I really don't want to lose more. I am eating nuts and fresh fruit and veggies. Avacados. Nothing fat free. I guess it is all trial and error.
I don't have any regrets, they can talk about me plenty when I'm gone....Bob Dylan
