I put all my food into a daily journal like fitday or dailyplate...to keep track of carbs and calories and protein.
Our pouch works best with high protein so I concentrate on that and getting in enough water in to compensate for that.
A modified pouch test would be soft foods for the first day, concentrating on protein and water. Do that as many days as you can and then move on from there to more solid stuff. I could never stay on liquids for a day...But half day isn't hard...
With your schedule, I would keep a note pad and write down what you eat and then plug those figures into daily plate or fitday at the end of the day to see what you get. Then adjust from there. Right now, I'm trying to adjust my mornings and my eating..it's just adjusting.

I can say ditto, ditto , ditto to so much of this. I lost all of my weight from February until November and held there for about a year. I then put on about 15 lbs and it has held on my butt for the last 10 months. I hate it. It doesn't matter if I ride the couch or my bike that 15 lbs is here to stay.
I have tried the pouch test a couple of times and I almost killed somebody. I am currently just trying to get off the sugar/bread/cracker thing right now and that is hard enough.
In a few weeks my youngest daughter starts preschool so I will have 2 hrs/ 2mornings a week so I am thinking about joining a gym to really try to ramp up the exercise with a weight program and see if that helps.
Otherwise I am just working on loving myself at this weight-It is a hell of a lot better than where i came from.
