Accountability - Sunday
What a day! Busy busy. I purposely kept the calories and such down all day so that I could have a bunch of stuff that I rarely eat for dinner..
B: oatmeal, tvp, 1/2 a medium peach and 1 cup soy milk
2B or my first lunch: 2 eggs, 1/2 cup yogurt, 2 slices bacon and 1/2 cup grits (mistake!)
Snack: 1/4 cup roasted sunflower seeds
Snack: 1 beer
Dinner: 2 pork tamales with salsa, 1 peach tamale (made with splenda blend)
Dessert: NSA Brownie Sundae Ice Cream (non fat)
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1627
Fat: 70.3
Carbs: 145.9
Protein: 86.8
Gosh...what a wrong day! I was going to have a hamburger patty stuffed with cheese but we were running low and I put mine back so one of the kids could have a second one...Always..So tomorrow will be a better day...I did bad today but I can do better tomorrow..

Great list! I can over do watermelon so fast! I guess that's a trigger food for me and it would cause a problem if I had it available all the time..Good thing I'm too cheap to buy it off season. LOL.
Your days are so good...Great list. Keep up the good work. See ya.

Hello All
Sunday was a travel day, back from picking up my youngest from a week visit at his aunt's house...When I got home went into a cooking frenzy - made banana cinnamon streudel bread and mini quiches in addition to my regular full Sunday Dinner Menu...
Continuing to struggle with too many carbs for my personal sanity level, kicking of a week that is focused on high protein - hopefully protein over 100 grams a day and everything else WAY low...
Now for Sunday:
PreB - coffee with sf cocoa and nf milk
B - 1 3/4 scrambled eggs, 1 slice turkey bacon, couple bites of watermelon and a sm banana nut
& blueberry muffin
L - venti triple nf sf vanilla-dulce latte and 1 petite vanilla scone
S - powercrunch with 1 tbsp pb spread on top
S - 1/2 a cinnabon cookie
D - 1 end slice of meatloaf with spicy salsa sauce, sm spoon butter egg noodles, and 1/3 cup
tomato/cucumber/mozz salad
S - 1/8 cup pistachios
Water / crystal lite : 80 oz
(too low ) Cals: 1477 Fat: 74 Carbs: 115 Prot: 91

Yeah, the carbs were alittle higher than the protein but with all the activity going on in the kitchen, you were busy enough to run through all that ready energy..
You saw how my kitchen excursion with the tamales shook down...not enough protein at all. Now I have to figure a way to increase the protein in that meal and keep the carbs lower. I figure, add TVP and all beef chili on top of two tamales with some cheese...Like eating beef enchiladas! But we'll tray that Tuesday night, I guess. burgers today.
It's all about adjustment!
All in all, Sunday was everyones day off, I guess. Monday morning...back to the old grind stone and back on track..Pick up the engine and put the cars back on the iron rails and here we GO!.
Keep after it! See ya.

Oh my GOD!! I DRANK 4 MILLER 64. I WAS SO DRUNK. I HAD A FRIEND TO TAKE ME TO THE STORE AND I GOT UP THIS MORNING AND HAD BOUGHT CHEESE OUT THE ASS. WHAT IS IT WITH ME AND CHEESE. I ATE A CARTON OF CHICKEN SALIAD. 1/2 BAR OF CHEESE WAS GONE. SO I DID IT. I WOKE UP THIS MORNING MY WEIGHT WENT FROM 100 TO 107. LOL I GUESS I NEED TO GET DRUNK MORE OFTEN. LOL BUT THE BEER SURE DID TASTE SO,SO GOOD. I DIDN'T EVEN GET SICK. JUST SICK OF THE MESS I MADE IN THE KITCHEN. WONDER WHAT ELSE I DONE??? HOPE I DIDN'T WALK OUTSIDE NAKED. LIVE ON A BUSY HIGHWAY. I HID MY CAR KEYS AND NOW GOT TO FIND THEM BOYZ.....WAS KINDA FUN FOR A CHANGE. AMY JO
LOL... it might have been all that cheese! There's a bit of salt in that, I have to think..and chicken salad. You ate stuff that was good for you, at least..
I'm still trying to get you to drink regular beer and not the light stuff..LOL. Scale back on the beer and maybe level out on the chicken salad, is the only recommendation I have on that.
Take care of yourself. Don't transfer addiction to beer, that would be ugly.
