I think I figured out why I'm so tired today. Started out last night when I fell asleep watching Good Eats on Food Network. I get such good ideas from that show! Well, Alton Brown was making Tamales...So I dreamt about tamales all night last night. Consequently, I had to go and get the masa and the lard (yes, lard!) and the pork/turkey combo was already in my freezer...So I spent most of the afternoon putting together 30 tamales for our barbeque tomorrow...I didn't know we were having a barbeque but...we are. LOL. That's okay. I need to try out the silly tamales. Then I got to looking at fruit tamales...hmmm. I'm thinking splenda with that masa..could be good..

List for the day:

B: oatmeal, tvp, applesauce, soy milk, coffee

2B: 2 eggs, cottage cheese, 3 strips of bacon

Snack: 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 1 pc turkey deli meat

L: 1/2 sandwich whi*****luded 1/2 oz pastrami, 1 slice cheddar and 1 slice whole wheat bread done up on the george foreman...that thing is AMAZING!

D: the insides of a stuffed bell pepper made special for me...seasoned ground beef, no rice, 1 oz cheddar and some salsa..

Dessert: 1 medium peach.

Fat: 73.9
Carbs: 96.2
Protein: 128.9

Hmm. low enough carbs but the fat was kind of high..ground beef will do that, even the lean stuff.

Tamales sound good! I never heard of a fruit tamale. Had my busy day as planned and am going to bed soon. Ran a 5 K got a haircut, then a mani, pedi. Went to the wedding it was lovely! Picked up my daughter and her friends from slumber party, came home had dinner and as I said I am off to bed!
0930-fried egg w cheese and a 100 cal english moffin
1500-wedding food; chicken on a stick, 2 puff pastry things, grapes and a small piece of cake without the icing
2000-chicken breast 1/4 c brown rice and brocoli with cheese sauce
2045- skinny cow
Not sure I got all my water, but close ran a 5 K and all my vits.

Sorry about getting back to you so late...This weekend was nuts..The tamales were really really good. I was surprised they turned out so well...Our guests said they must be so labor intesive but I didn't really think so...I think spare ribs (done right) are far more labor intesive..LOL.

You did really awesome..cake without frosting..That takes some pretty great will power. Sunday our guests brought a brownie and two different ice creams...I stuck with a peach tamale and some NSA fat free ice cream that I have of my own. Turns out, one of our guests had some of my ice cream too (he's diabetic!)

I ate 2 power bars 459 caories in each. God in all my water. Felt good went to pp (its sunday now) and ******g fell back. Right into  my duaghters room. She is never home.

Hey dawn. Sorry Ive been MIA. My computer got a virus so i haven't been able to get on it. The "geek squad" is coming to look at it tomorrow.
I've been off since Thursday. I took a few days off to just spend time with my daughter doing school shopping and have a few days to do nothing. I'm at my mom's house now visiting. We just got back from church and getting ready for my nephews birthday dinner. He's 10 today.

Saturdays good eats..

B: Protein shake

S: Peach

L: Grilled chicken sammy on whole wheat bun with lettuce & ff honey mustard (Chick fil a)

S: Pack of hot n spicy peanuts

D: 2 scrambled eggs w/ ham and cheese, 1 pack of instant grits

S: handful of grapes & string cheese

Didn't do fitday but had a good eating day!

Wow...My son had a virus on his computer and it took a long time to get rid of it. He has friends that he blogs with on line and one (in Minnesota) told him how to get rid of it but it still took a long time. His computer was taking 90% of our internet band width and sucking up so much download speed...we had to tell him he couldn't use the computer until it was fixed...

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday...It was just crazy around here. You had a good list. I'd guess your numbers were about 1000 with really good protein. Not too much food at all...but it was really good food..
