Accountability - Saturday

We decided against the beach today. Did alittle shopping but mostly relaxed around the house yeah, relaxed! - I did two loads of laundry before the sun came up, I have one in the machine now...then I vacuumed the whole house and shampooed much of the carpet..cleaned bathrooms...relaxed. LOL. But actually, doing house work for me is relaxing. I know, I'm sick. LOL. But I even got in an hour nap too. Not bad. dh took me out to share a steak dinner so I'm stuffed. I must be doing something right on my eating, with my labs being good. I have a couple of questions for my PCP but otherwise, I couldn't ask for better..

List for the day: 

B: oatmeal, tvp, applesauce, soy milk.

2B: 3 egg omelet with ortega chilis and swiss cheese, 1/2 cup cottage cheese. This time I said no to the toast

L: left over chicken leg: 2 oz and a nectarine

S: (after my nap) 3 pc sugar free candy

D: 3 oz rib eye steak, cut really thin! a salad with ranch dressing, 1 onion ring and 1 small dinner roll.

Totals for the day: 
Calories: 1676
Fat: 84.5
Carbs: 120
Protein: 121.8

Not too bad. Not all that great because the calories and carbs are up there but...tomorrow is another day. I have to be really good on Monday or I can't have popcorn at the movies and I think there's a law about that or something. LOL. I think I can handle it.

Hey Dawn.
I had a pretty good Saturday. I slept in then got up and walked around the farmers market. When I came home, I did 3 loads of laundry, went grocery shopping, stopped at subway for lunch then came home and relaxed the rest of the evening. My friend came by so we watched a movie and cooked dinner.

My good eats...

B: 2 boiled eggs and 2 strips of turkey bacon

S: Med peach

L: Ham & Turkey 6 " sub and FF chips

S: 1.5 oz of beef jerky

D: Grilled turkey breast and grilled asparagus wrapped in bacon... YUM

S: String cheese and a handful of cherries.


That's a heck of a lot better than friday's ugly totals! I made sure I kept it under control because on Friday, I had no control at all.

I keep thinking "Sometimes you feel like a nut; sometimes ya don't" with the good days and bad. So long as the control days outnumber the out-of-control days...we're good.
