Same day, different day...They've given my friend's brother 2 weeks to live. How can anyone be okay with a 27 year old man passing away? 

I couldn't even eat my whole breakfast this morning..I'm just really down.

List for the day: 

5:30 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/2 cup plain soy milk, 1/2 scoop EAS Soy Protein, 1/4 cup orange juice, 1/6 cup finely ground quick oats
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Berry Lemonade
9:00 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 1 medium orange
9:30 am 12 oz Drink Mix, Strawberry
10:10 am 1/2 sandwich: 4 oz beef, 2 slice whole grain bread, 2 slices Swiss cheese, 1 T mustard
10:45 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
11:15 am 12 oz Drink Mix, Strawberry
12:35 pm 1/2 sandwich mentioned above
1:15 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Lemonade
3:15 pm 1 hardboiled egg
3:45 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Grapefruit Caffeinated
4:15 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Lemon Berry

6:00 pm 4 oz steak grilled, 6 broccoli flowerets.

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1340
Fat: 61.5
Carbs: 80.0
Protein: 115.0

I did okay. I could eat more but I don't think I want to.

Hey Dawn. I am so sorry to hear about your friends brother.
My day went ok. I went to school to pick up my schedule then back home to chill out before work at 3. 
 
My good eats...

B: Special K protein cereal w/ 8 oz of FF calorie countdown milk

S: Protein shake

L: 1 Cup of White chicken chili w/ a lil cheese

S: Boiled egg & a handful of cherries

D: 1/2 a Ham & cheese sammy & Light Progresso veggie soup

S: Carb/sugar control yogurt


I'm a little low on calories today too but oh well.

Alittle low on calories but still, a good bit of protein in that day! You did great. I made the mistake of not bringing enough food with me today so I'm in danger of finding snacks..I hate that because, I can sure find snacks...LOL.

On to the food:

First off, I REALLY hate posting my food when I go "way off the reservation" like I did yesterday...One of my personal phobia's is having a problem admitting I let my food for the day control me, instead of me controlling it - definately part of the reason I got so fat in the first place, was/am  really good about putting my head in the sand and just ignoring the bad choices...BUT this is what accountability is about and why I'm here, if I put it down for ALL to see, then I am not hiding it, I am acknowledging it and then I can move on to do something better about my choices...

PreB - 1 sausage link

B - choc and banana protein shake

S - 2 pigs in a blanket, 1/4 cup potato salad, 1 oz cheddar, a couple of scoops with salsa

S - protein coffee

L - 2 BBQ chicken legs, another pig, another 1/4 cup potato salad, a couple more scoops & a
       bite of lemon pie

D - 1 small slice NY style pepperoni pizza & 1/2 a brownie

S - 1/2 serving honey roasted peanuts

Water / crystal lite:  112 oz                     Cals:  1502     Fat:  76     NetCarbs: 100     Protein:  90

Not enough protein for trade off of carbs and cals...

Still...it could have been much worse. You really beat yourself up but it isn't non-refundable..You get a second and third chance to do right and you will.

We all do that same thing. Because I'm upset, I tend to eat alot less and it shows. I used to be a stress eater and somewhere I decided that I can control my food, even when I can't control anything else. I'll under eat before I'll let anything control me and that's equally as bad. I can SO see Hotmamma's position...There but by the grace of God....that's me. If things get really bad, I'll be 98 pounds in a couple weeks. not good.

You didn't do too bad. You ate like I do on a normal day!

We all have them days where we let food "run the show".  I am having one of thoes days today and I sure am beating myself up over it!!
