I had expectations for this day and they sort of did happen...I was so tired from last night...I really needed to sleep but I've been skipping church for three weeks and felt really bad about that. I count on my church time to center my life and it was slipping away. I actually had to mentally draw the line at church. This weekend I really needed to do that to get back my mental focus...So church wasn't sacrificed. We went to breakfast after...we could have skipped that. What we did skip was the movie. So no popcorn. Meh, movies are something we don't do that much and I'm still not sure I could have actually stayed awake for the whole thing.

Went home and I took a two and a half hour nap. didn't do anything at all other than nap...and surf..Why does that bother me?

List for the day:

B: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, apple sauce. This made my carb levels soar..I felt it.

2B: 2 eggs, cottage cheese and bacon...too much bacon. 4 slices. So I was probably feeling that when I did the nap thing.

L: chicken patty, 1 slice jack cheese, 2 small corn tortillas cut to fit

Snack: 1 medium grapefruit.

D: 5 oz (before cooking) ground beef patty, 1 T light ranch dressing and a bowl of doritos (bag said 160 calories)

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1860
Fat: 98.5
Carbs: 122.7
Protein: 128.6

So the day wasn't a bad waste. It was high calorie but tomorrow is another day.

Welcome back to a new week and Monday...Can it be Friday again?? Pleeeaaase ...AC is broken at my office, no repair man in sight, temps in the 90's and humidity in the 90%'s - its gonna be a HOT one...

Dawn, saw on your Saturday post where you were talking about the carbs and how easy the slice of pizza went down, I can definately empathize...You know what to do though, just get back on course and don't let yourself go overboard tooo often...My Saturday was over the carb limit too...Got back on track Sunday and will hold the line thru the week...

Sunday's food:

B - coffee with carb countdown, 2 slices thin bacon, bite of pan fried potatoes

L - pb and banana protein drink

S - pb power crunch bar with 1 tbsp nutella spread on top ( wanted chocolaty & still craving nuts )

S - 2 asiago cheese crisps and 1 prune

D - baked chicken thigh, about 1/2 cup parmesan crusted zucchini and 1 sm fingerling potato

Water / crystal lite / tea:  106 oz                    Cals:  964     Fat: 51     NetCarbs:  44     Protein:  83

I guess I've gotten really picky...Pizza isn't all that tasty to me anymore. I don't like it. I guess I've moved on from the carb rich italian food..LOL.

You did good on Sunday..good for you. I think Monday will be my make up day. It's starting out better.

Keep up the good work and have a great week. I totally sympathize with you on the heat. It's 110 here and only down to 79 with the swamp cooler. I get sweaty just thinking about a power outage...If I had to sit around in the dark with the temps at 110, that movie theater would be looking like heaven.

Sunday turned out to be a pretty good day. I went to church then Kristina and I went to the movies to see Orphan. It was a GREAT movie! After the movies, my 3 brothers and their family came back to my mom's house for dinner. Everyone brought a dish so we had a nice spread. After dinner we played pictionary.

My good eats...

B: 2 boiled eggs & 1 slice of light wheat toast w/ spray butter

S: Popcorn at the movies.. about 3 cups. I wanted more but it was sooo buttery. My stomach started to feel yucky so I stopped.

L: Protein shake

Dinner: (at my mom's)
1 slice of Ham,  2 hot wings, 4 broiled shrimp, 5 steamed mussels,
About 1/4 or less of.. vegetarian pasta Alfredo, steamed cabbage & cucumber salad

S: 1 scoop of Sugar Free vanilla ice cream

S: 1/2 a slice of zucchini bread

Those scary tense movies aren't something I can watch...I have heard that is a good movie but evil children, I think I'd have night mares for a month. I'm such a whimp! LOL. G-Force is what I really wanted to see cuz I'm a James Bond freak..but alas, no movies for us this weekend. Maybe next weekend. I doubt it but maybe.

Your list looks really good. I need to get the old ice cream maker out and make some sugar free frozen yogurt...that stuff is sooo good. I sub plain soy milk for the cream and then I don't have that lactose thing...

A friend gave us TWO  bread makers a couple weekends ago..I can hardly wait for the weather to break so I can try some of those recipes for whole wheat and grain breads...yummy.

I passed out and hit the floor all day Sunday. My daughter had to pick me up. And she left with a friend. I had to scoot on my kneese to the chair. I have been eating so I don't know what is going on.I must of hit my ass. It is so sore. It needs rubbing. LOL   4 real.....

B Coffee

L...Arbys kids meal. I are all the rost beef and even the bread. And some of the curley fries. And unsweet tea.

Dinner...Bojangles Ate a chicken biscuit and some fries. Had a large tea.

Thought me sugar was low so I ate 1/2 of a real cookie.

Got in all my water.     Does coffee count as a liquid???????

It does count and it doesn't...I have heard it both ways so I just add another serving of water for every serving of coffee so that I have all my bases covered..

You dont' have any cushion on your ass to speak off so I'm sure it does hurt. I'm real careful about hitting my butt because I have the same problem. Not enough cushion.

After your daughter left, you fell AGAIN? That's not good. I would call the doctor and let them know. It has to be the medication...something isn't acting right or interacting right. And you are eating more now than you were eating a month ago...something with the meds, I would be willing to bet.

Maybe your blood pressure is really low? 

You take care of yourself...falling is scary stuff...remember recently in the news that woman who fell on the ski slope and hit her head and it was more serious than she (and the paramedics) thought? Be careful.
