Accountability - Sunday
Well, the weekend is over...It was a very fruitful weekend for me. I think with my new found recipe for spare ribs, I can finally compete at my sister's place! Yeah, as my husband would say...now he'll have to widen the doors so I can get my big head out in the morning...LOL. It was good...I was pleased..
List for the day:
B: fresh fruit shake with a scoop of EAS protein and soy milk
2B: 3 egg omelet with mushrooms, 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 1.5 slices rye toast without the ccrust.
L: 3 oz sparerib meat (left over from last night), 2 chef jay's chocolate chip cookies
D: 4 oz chicken breast meat on 1 corn tortilla, 2 wine coolers
The day started way too early and the weather didn't cool down during the night so the sleeping was really not worth doing..I'm sure hoping the night tonight is cool enough to get a good night sleep...we'll see.

Glad you had such a nice time this weekend! I am so craving spare ribs now! Cole slaw sounds good too, to go with the spare ribs. I think that will be dinner on Tuesday. I only cook a few times a week, the leftovers last all week!

Kind of a carb day, will do better tomorrow. cleaned in the am as teen babysitter asked if I could use some housekeeping help; was that a hint? An hour of zumba then came home and did the first workout session for the couch to 5K program with my daughter and neighbor. My nine year old wants to run a 5 K with me so we are starting her training. It was hot(80's is hot here) and she was done when we were only half way done but she finished it. So had another 30 minutes of walking/jogging. I am going to start tracking on daily plate again on Tuesday. I will be gone all day tomorrow so no senese in saying I will start tomorrow. I have my second plastics consult. I should have a daye soon; I am thinking after school starts in the Fall.

I know! When I read the lists on here I get to thinking about this and that and have to have it...Yes! cole slaw would have been great with the ribs. But my fridge is only so big and it's STILL stuffed with stuff..I keep moving the stuff to smaller containers but it doesn't seem to help. I had to accept the fact that the left over ribs had to go to the dogs. It was sad but left over ribs just aren't very good. But all those salads? I bet the potato salad has to go to them by wednesday anyway. the green salad and maybe the fruit salad will be gone today.

We're lucky if it gets down below the 80s at night for sleeping. I think just before the sun came up this morning it was 75 or so..We don't get many periods like this but it lasts long enough for me to appreciate the winter!

The weekend went by way too fast! I had a good Sunday. Went to church, ate lunch at my parents house, came home took a long walk after dinner then watched a movie with my daughter. She made the pillsbury reduced sugar brownies and they are good!

I've had the reduced sugar cakes (and frosting!) and they are YUMMY! I dont' believe I've seen the brownies but I'm sure I'll find them in my grocery store foreging safaris soon!

Back to work today, Monday, the only good part of that statement is the boss is out of town all week - It could lead to shear craziness but there will also be periods of low stress mixed in just cuz "when the cats away, the mice will play "

Saturday's BBQ was wonderful, but I fell of the low carb wagon completely, then the wagon back up and ran over me 2 or 3 more times
- still actually woke up Sunday down a lb and managed to close out the weekend at my goal weight ( which was to hold steady on my weight from Friday to Monday morning )...Back on my LOW carb plan today...
Sunday's food:
B - sf nf venti gingerbread vanilla latte, 1 bite of DH's petite vanilla scone & 1 bite of a sm sugar

S - 1/2 oz maple ham & 1/2 oz muenster cheese at the deli line grocery store tasting station
L - 1/4 of D/H's beef and broccoli
S - pb and banana protein shake
D - caesar salad ( about a cup with about 6 croutons mixed in ) and NC style BBQ'd chicken

Water / crystal lite : 112 oz Cals : 1008 Fat : 44 NetCarbs : 59 Protein : 87

LOL...we have a management retreat coming up and the first thing I was thinking was "PARTY!" LOL. All the managers and administration people will be out of the office so nothing will get signed, approved or even reviewed...so what can we do? Not much. LOL.
Wow...maintain away there girl! You did awesome for Sunday. That was my highest calorie day in some time. Mostly because my dh made the statement that he seems to think I'm eating alot more lately...so I cut back to 1400-1500 calories. Didn't make a difference in the scale, didn't think it would..but it's just knowing that I can cut the calories alittle if I need to..LOL. It's all in my head at this point.
