Gas problems...I know this subject is worn out
I was very gassy before surgery; however, now I am almost non-stop pooting machine, and it is terrible smelling. I mean bad, can I say it one more time---IT IS HORRIBLE! I have tried Beano and intestinal deoderants. Nothing, no relief whatsoever. Has anyone have any products that help? I have been interviewing for jobs, as I have been laid off for a year. I am worried about working in close quarters. as I could eventually explode. Seriously. I did check into a charcoal seat pad awhile back, but they were sold out. I was wondering if anyone tried Align? What about a specific probiotic? If hired, the management will fire me the first day for seriously making the air quality a risk for patients with lung disease. Help!!!'
Good Morning,
Sorry to tell you the gas can now be an on going thing at least with some foods. I tried the Devrom. You can order this on the Web or just ask your Pharmacy to order it for you. It cost about $19 but it is so worth the cost. The other thing I do is when I feel the gas pains I leave my office and take a walk and let it rip. You feel better and the office is never going to know.
Hope that helps.

Hi Sheron,
What helped me a LOT was probiotics. I use the PB-8 brand. (14 Billion per dose) The trick with probiotics is to get enough of them. 2 capsules of PB-8 provides 14 billion of various organisms (actually 10 different strains) to provide much needed "balance" in your lower digestive tract. I would try and get one that is more than one or two strains. More good bacteria, more fighting power against "bad" bacteria.
How do these work, you ask? What probiotics are is the "good" bacteria we need to eat up and over power the bad bacteria in our intestines. I'll tell ya, this stuff works! Just make sure you keep the bottle in frig (must be kept cold, to keep them alive....live organisms remember?).
Definately a huge help to anyone who has IBS, or is just gassy. Hope this helps!
