Hello
Half way thru the week, looks like it is going well...Yesterday afternoon I struggle alot with head hunger - I ate a pretty big lunch (by our standards) and know it was not true physical hunger, but ALL afternoon I kept wanting to eat something else, not necessarily a bad something, put something in my mouth...Still not sure what was prompting it, was not a high stress afternoon and stress is usually a major factor for me and head hunger...The good news is a fought it off, so I feel really good about my day yesterday...
Dawn, tell me what is total carbs by defination? In the newbie days I never tracked carbs, but also ate very little that had them...When I started journalling my food to figure out maintanence I logged ALL carbs listed on the label...Then about the 3yr mark I read some research that it is really about NetCarbs, so I switched to that method as my way of counting...Anyway, always interested in learning more...
Tuesdays food:
B - venti sf nf pumpkin pie latte ( I added 3 1/2 oz extra liquid protein to it at Dawn's
suggestion to offset the higher carbs from the milk in the latte )
S - power crunch bar with pb spread on top
L - insides of small sub - roastbeef, turkey, provolone, white american, lettuce, tomato,
onions and black olives - spritzed with asian vinagrette ( the salad spray) & 3 espresso
beans
D - about a cup: caesar salad topped with 2 oz thin slice pork chateaubriand
Water / crystal lite - 115 oz Cals: 1157 Fat: 56 NetCarbs: 55 Protein: 108

I had an o.k day, busy at work but who isn't?
B-protein drink
S-protein water& sf cookie
L-2 small corn tortillas w shredded pork and onions w salsa and a bit of ranch-yum!
S-cottage cheese and a nsa fruit cup
D-salsibury steak and a few spoons of mac n cheese
S-skinny cow
no exercise; tuesday and Thuesday are my usual rest days. All my water, iron, multie and B 12. I tried a new calcium and it is not going to work. I can't swallow the pills; too big. I tried breaking them inhalf but still won't go. I am taking PTO today( I have to use 240 more hours by January) so will see what else i can find. I may just order from BA again.

What a good job! Great and varied list. I know calcium is really hard...why do they make the pills so darn huge? I mean do horses need calcium pills or what?
I wonder if you can grind them up? I never thought to ask.
Keep up the good work. Hopefully OH will post this response...It's funny, work computer system and this one too...all day this has been a problem for me. Three different computers and two different WANs...LOL. Just my luck.

Yeah, today was just another day...First day of the rest of our lives..One day at a time...
My biggest challenge is to keep something out there that I can look forward to..whether it's the weekend or next month..October is my nephew's wedding so that's for October. I'm not seeing anything for September at all yet...August is "whew July is over.." July for us at work is horrible. the start of the next year and the end of last year..What a mess.
This weekend, we're doing two barbeques again...I'll be so exhausted come Monday that I'll be GLAD to be back at my desk..LOL. And so...the journey continues.
Your list looks really good. I'm seeing chicken when I close my eyes. I'm thinking chicken fajitas for BOTH barbeques this weekend...
Great numbers. Keep up the good work. Have a great rest-of-the-week...See ya.
