The day started out really bad. Last night I had my allergy shot and that usually has me wondering if I'm going to have an allergic reaction. Then I wanted a snack so I had an iced coffee with soy milk and sf chocolate syrup...bad idea. It was 9 pm and I couldn't sleep after that. at 1 am, I finally fell asleep. 5 am comes way too early when you only get 4 hours of sleep. ouch. So I called in to work. Still can't get the website to take my sub request but that's a different story.

B: 1/3 cup oatmeal, 1/4 cup tvp fine granule, 1 cup soy milk, 4 large strawberries

S: 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 1 pc roasted turkey breast deli meat

L: cheese burger on half a bun with lettuce and tomato with thousand island dressing (hubby usually takes me out to lunch on Wednesday so he took me in to gas up my car and get a burger...then home and to nap..) 

Early Dinner: 1/2 chicken patty from Trader Joes, 1/2 whole wheat pita pocket, 1 slice provolone

Later Dinner: 1/2 chicken patty and possibly another snack but not NOT coffee...

Totals for the day: 
Calories: 1191
Fat: 45.9
Carbs: 111.5
Protein: 91.1

Including the snack in the totals..I'm behind on water..only three bottles so far. Maybe a cup of warm tea later. I'm still really tired, even though I napped for three hours today. headache, achy, maybe I'm coming down with something..hopefully I feel better tomorrow.

Hey Dawn,

I hate it when I get thrown off on my sleep because of taking a nap too late or heavy caffeine after 6 pm ( sometimes late coffee with DH & friends, know better, but do it anyway )...It usually takes me 2-3 days before I can get my sleep back to normal...

Ate more today in all areas, but still look like pretty good totals all around, so I will continue to be satisfied with my progress towards sticking to my maintenance plan and staying within my fluctuations goal...

On to the Food :

B - Starbucks triple sf nf peppermint pattie latte

S - protein coffee

S - oh yeah protein bar with 1 tbsp pb on top

L - 4 oz chicken chile rellenos rolls topped with salsa and diced avocado

S - 1 tbsp pb ( licked right off the spoon )

D - 3 oz london broil on a panini sandwich with 2 oz muenster cheese, a few chips with homemade sausage queso dip and 5 sf bread-n-butter pickle chips

S - small palm homemade trail mi

Water / crystal lite  116 oz                    Cals - 1359     Fat - 67     NetCarbs - 74     Protein - 106

Found this new kind of bread/ roll at the commissary, made by Arnold, its round like a bun, but whole grain and really flat  & GREAT stats - only 100 cals, 17 Net Carbs, 1 fat & 4 protein for both sides so you can make a REAL sandwich with 2 pieces of bread ( almost unheard of for me these days  ) and be in the same range as one slice of any other kind of bread...

I've got a meeting in the morning, so will check in later in the day and see how everyone else is doing...Later...

I ate the last of my pita pockets Wednesday so I'm looking for something more. dh and son like sandwiches and cheap wheat bread (you know, the colored brown white bread?) is good enough for them but not me. My pouch sees past that caramel coloring and sees the white and I crash like crazy...

You did great. All your water, alittle higher on calories than you have been but still...you did great. Keep it up. See ya.

Hello ladies. 
My day went pretty good. My new medicine has got me very sleepy so I slept all morning then came into work at 3. Work has been slow! 

My good eats..

B: 1 whole wheat eggo waffle w/ sf syrup, 1 scrambled egg & 3 strips of turkey bacon

S: Protein Shake

L: Smart Ones frozen dinner

S: Light Bryers yogurt

S: SF Jello

D: Baked hot wings w/ ff ranch & Garden Salad w/ cheese and ff Italian dressing

S: 3 Big Strawberries & SF Chocolate pudding


That's it for me!!

Very good! I have such trouble with waffles...I need to try the whole wheat variety again...I just love those and the carbs stick with me for a long time so long as I am active.

I'm not sure if menopause makes it worse but I'm into that time now (51 this year) and I used to be able to have coffee right before bed. I used to do that all the time but it's been a while..So I didn't expect to have a problem Tuesday night...Maybe it was because it was iced coffee.

Hmm. should have remembered nyquill. or tylenol pm. I couldn't stay in bed, I tend to feel guilty for that. I drug myself around here until 1 pm working on laundry and housework, cleaning bathrooms and adjusting things in the side yard getting ready for the ground cover this weekend..at lunch I forced myself to eat half a hamburger bun (white carbs) so that I'd be artificially tired and had to nap. I actually got in three hours nap..I feel so much more normal this morning...

Looks like your numbers and list are good. I hope your hormone tests come out good. They tested my hormones some time back but because I'm still on bc pills, it was silly to do it to begin with. My PCP said that we'd wait till I was period free for a year before I went off of those. We'll see.

2 coffee w splenda and half n half
packet otameal
6 baby carrots/9 cucumber slices dipped in 2 ozhummus
leftover chickn w/ww spaghetti and mxed veggies
d-hot dog on bun, about 12-13 tater tots, salad w/ ranch
3 beers

Calories are good. Im adding to fitday and it seems to be going well.
Need more protein, as always :)

beers can't be great..LOL but they aren't any problem if planned, I figure. I sometimes plan for a big ol margarita and then don't get to have one so I have something like cookies instead..either way, I'm good.

How are your protein numbers?

proteins are generally at least 65 and up. Sometimes much higher but usually at least 65.
I am going to check the protein at WM because I could live on veggies if I spplement. I am a veggie/fruit junkie.
yeah, beers cant be that great but either beer or wine is generally part of my menu a couple of times a week.  I have never really counted the calories before but figure I need to be aware.
they took my nice 1100 cals up to almost 1600 so I really need to pay attention.

Good evening everyone. I am so sensitive to caffeine I can't have any anymore, even early in the day. I wonder if peri menopause makes it worse, I never was this way before. I had iced tea at lunch on Monday and I was up until I finally took a swig of Nyquil. I have felt nauseus off and on all day. If I do not feel well in the morning I am not going in, I would love to stay in bed all day or at least until 1000! I am so behind at work and there is so much drama going on. I may go in to get my hormones checked or something, like I said nausea, hot flashes, sweat and then cold, and just not me today;yuck! I am not pregnant so it could be peri menopause they mentioned something about that last year but I think I tuned it out.
0900-oatmeal
1030 fiber one bar
1230-turkey, cranberry sauce and 1/4 c mashed taters
1430-SF jello and string cheese
1700-1/2 cookie and a banana- before my run, bad idea very nauseated for whole run
1945-scrambled eggs and 100 cal muffin w sf jelly
Not enough water I only got 56 ounces in but took my iron, vits and calcium. Ran 40 minutes. I hope everyone gets a good nights sleep, including me. I am whiny when I am tired!
