Accountability - Sunday
This is my menu list for the day:
1B: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, chopped up strawberries and PB2
2B: 3 egg omelet with ortega chilis and swiss cheese, cottage cheese
L: 1/2 a whole wheat pita pocket with 4 ounces chicken breast and 1 slice provolone cheese
D: 4 oz imitation crab meat, 1/2 cup cucumber salad and 1/2 cup faux-tato salad left over from my sister's barbeque (made with cauliflower instead of potatoes). Not bad.
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1634
Fat: 78.2
Carbs: 105.1
Protein: 133.4
Not bad. I could use a dessert and that would probably be some sugar free cookies. No more protein but carbs and calories...probably up to 1800 calories. I'm really tired and sore from raking and cleaning the yard. I'll probably just head to bed without any dessert.
How did you do?

Protein is low but I didnt' do as bad as I thougt I would of did. I avoided all crackers and chips and that is a huge thing for me. If I would of ate just a couple, I would of grazed on them all day.
I had to taste four barbeque spare ribs on Saturday but I allowed for it...so good. I have a great idea for the competition next year. What is it about being limited on the foods I can eat and wanting to make them better than anyone else...where did this competitive spirit come from?
Yeah, protein was a little low but the calories were good ones. At those events I always get a small dessert plate and eat from that..You can't stack up chips on a plate that small and still have the shrimp too..LOL. We do what we need to do to stay on the straight and narrow...
You did alright. Monday is official do-over day so...head for the hills on the protein! See ya.

Sunday was "out of control"...I guess we all have days like this, so I'm going to make the excuse that "at least it's not like pre-surg when I ate 3 times the quantity", does'nt really justify the actions, but sounds better...What a really need to say is I'm reeling it back in now...Time to kick the carb maniac to the curb and regain control of my choices...
Not listing totals cuz I was afraid to put it all down in the daily plate :
B - ( at IHOP) - 2 cups cocoa-n-coffee
1 egg over medium, 1 slice bacon, 1 sausage link, bite of hash browns
whole strawberry-n-creme cheese crepe with whip
about 1/8th of a stack of 3 pancakes
S - 2 hot wings
S - McDonalds sf vanilla iced mcCafe ( thanks for telling us about it Kay )
S - 2 prunes
S - 2 sugar cookies and 1 petite vanilla scone
S - 3 hershey dk choc nuggets ( 1 at a time spread over the afternoon )
D - 3 oz bacon wrapped filet mignon, 1/2 cup homemade mac-n-cheese, 1 cup caesar salad
S - small palm homemade trail mix
It is actually cleansing to put it all down, but still DON'T EVEN want to know what the "damage" is, moving on, and trying to kick the habit today - tomorrow expect to be VERY protein forward...
Thanks for listening

LOL...I have had those days! I don't have any shame at all when I post those numbers either. It's just sad.
yeah, I bet you nearly fell into a carb coma from breakfast. Pancakes are so hard to eat for me. I know they fill me up quickly and I don't need to eat for hours and hours after but then I get that carb hunger and it's nearly so huge that it totally takes over my brain. I just can't stop. Or I just fall asleep and can't stay awake. I had to quit eating hash browns completely (that's why you see the cottage cheese so much with eggs on the weekends) and that faux-tatoe salad with cauliflower instead of potatoes really helped. It didn't taste yummy but it did substitute for the regular stuff.
My problem now is sugar free candies...chocolate specifically.
But that bacon wrapped filet mignon was totally worth all the other carbs! Good job! The best cut you can get and the highest protein too. You did fine.
Kick butt tomorrow! See ya.
