Still recovering from the Saturday Night fiasco. I didn't really thaw out until this morning...So we just hung around the house all day. Didn't do much of anything. LOL. Well, two loads of laundry, making curtains..house work.

List for the day:

B: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, banana, and PB2. I tried it for the first time.

L: tuna, water packed, with soy chips,

S: half a whole wheat bread sandwich with 2 oz ham, 1 slice muenster cheese

D: Whole Wheat Pita bread sandwich with refried beans and lean ground beef (cooked) and cheese with a bit of sour cream and salsa

No dessert, although...I think I'm behind on water so I may have some hot tea later.

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1672
Fat: 59.0
Carbs: 159.0
Protein: 136.0

Not too bad. Nearly equal percentages Fat: 32%, Carbs: 35%, Protein: 33%...Not too bad but I do need more water.

How did you do? Eye appointment tomorrow, otherwise, back on track tomorrow. Do overs are in effect tomorrow for sure!

I have alot more "insulation" than you, but when I get chilled it takes me forever to get over it. Beside my ferritan being low I am not anemic. Lazy day here. I slept in until 8:30, read the paper and missed church. Did some laundry and swept but that is it. I did go to my usual Sunday Zumba.
B-eggbeaters with cheese and 100 cal wheat english muffin
S-grapes
L-low carb tortilla turkey pepperoni pizza
S-100 cal kettle corn
D-chicken, small baked potato and brocoli
S RF whaet thins and a string cheese
1 hour of Zumba, all my water, vitamins, calcium and iron. Did you like the PB2? I have not ordered any yet; might try to split an order with a friend. Busy week ahead I hope it goes fast!

I was sure missing my insulation Saturday night! I'm not anemic either and my iron isn't low...it's actually gone up from year one labs to year two...year three will be soon. We'll see what happens then but I'm thinking it's still going to be fine.

I like PB2 but it's sort of different to get used to. I'm trying it without the bananas this week (because I had a reaction to the banana yesterday morning. Too many carbs and sugar) but it sure sucks up the moisture. I tried a teaspoon full without anything to see what it tastes like and it got into my throat and made me cough like crazy. It adds a peanut butter flavor without the fat.

Your list looks good. I'm not sure that doing Zumba is lazy...I know it's not. That's awexome that you included an hour of zumba in "being lazy". LOL.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

Hey Dawn.
I worked Sunday morning then hung out at home til I went to a party later that evening.

B:  EAS RTD Protein shake

S: Boiled Egg

L: BBQ Chicken Leg & Garden salad w/ cheese & lite balsamic vinagerette dressing

At the party: (not at the same time)...
4 Medium shrimp scampi
4 Scallops wrapped in bacon
1 slice of fried turkey
3 Wheat thins and 3 Cheese cubes
1 Chocolate cupcake

2 light beers. The new 64 calorie with 2 carbs beer is pretty good.

I have to pass on some info on shrimp. I was very used to buying frozen cooked shrimp for about 4.99 to 5.99 a pound. I found raw shrimp (with the shells on) at the local market for $2.99 a pound. Big ones, about 40 to a pound...nice size. So I steamed them and shelled them myself. Not only are they not mushy and water logged (I usually have to thaw them and wring them out before I put them in a salad) but they taste 900 times better...I think I'm in LOVE with shrimp again.

How are the numbers on scallops? Worth it?

light beers are good. I heard somewhere if you put a section of lime in them, they taste AWESOME.

Lime is my new go-to flavor. I bought mexican limes at the market for 33 cents a pound (that's 30 limes! in a pound, just about) and squeeze one or two into a bottle of water with crystal light in it...YUMO.

Great list! Keep up the good work. See ya.

A wedge of lime in my beer is my favorite way to drink beer. I have cut wayy back since surgery but I love an ice cold beer.

From Walmart, I buy the bag of frozen, raw, de-veined, with shells on from Walmart for 5.00. I always keep a bag in the freezer. Quick, delish and lots of protein!
