I have just started WW after three years post op.  I had a great first week and then each week following has been hardly any loss at all.  I am on my 5th week and I am following to a T!  I haven't gone over points on any day and I'm journaling like crazy.  They tell me at meetings that I'm prolly not eating enough because I'm also exercising daily.

Has anyone had success after surgery doing WW or any tips/tricks?

Thanks for the post.  I lost 5 pounds the first week and then each week after I have only lost .02 pounds and then this week lost nothing.  I have been exercising and journaling and skipping dinners out, fast food, sweets, carbs, etc.  I am back on track and feel like I'm living better again but I'm so frustrated because I need to lose 15 pounds that I have put back on in the last year.  I just keep thinking that I'm feeling better so it doesn't matter what the weight loss is but it's frustrating.

I joined WW and could not follow the number of points I was supposed to eat and gradually lost the first 10 lbs I needed to lose.  Then I started eating veges and lean protein and counting calories, carbs and protein.  I always swim almost every day.  I don't do points anymore.   I like the behavioral help though.  I lost 8.9 lbs that first week off carbs.  I lost 2 more pounds last week but I expected a slowdown.  Yesterday I cheated but am back on track today.  I hope this week goes better.  I have so much to lose.  Do they know you had WLS?  Pax et bonum, Daisy
