5yrs post-op here...Sadly I have had (6) teeth break over the last 12 months. I have had to have 2 removed and now am about to have the 4th crown put on at the end of the month. I have seen countless Dr's and Dentists. I have been advised to look into dentures as I will most likely lose all of my teeth before I hit 40yrs old! (I am only 28)

I am so sorry!  I too know I'm facing serious issues and it is causing great stress and turmoil in my life!  I don't have the funds to constantly pay out of pocket for all these root canals and bridges and crowns.  Just was curious if you've had medical insurance help at all or if it is all out of pocket or dental insurance?  I was thinking about whether or not medical would get involved since it seems to be related to a medical issue.

Also...have you kept up consistently with viatamins?  I haven't so I'm trying to get back to it but not sure if it's too late!

Remember...take one day at a time!

I have dental insurance, but regular medical does not cover any of it. It has been very expensive and I hate the thought that I am going through all this pain and $$ to only push off the inevitable for a few more years.

I did not keep up on my vitamins like I should have. I kept taking what my Dr told me to do (which was way too low). I am severly anemic (I have had 1 Iron infusion but now they won't do anymore...can't tell you why...it boggles my mind too!), I have b-12 shot each month, I have become hypoglycemic (which I diagnosed myself...Dr wouldnt believe me until I was rushed to the ER). Overall I do not regret having the surgery, but it scares me so bad to think of all the future health problems we long term post ops could be facing.

What I am struggling with now is the weight I have gained back. I got down to 167 before getting preggo, after my 2nd son I was upto 215. I am now about 200, but I have no desire to eat right or exersize, its pathetic! I want to get into my pre-baby clothes but I can't find the willpower...I start it up and then a few days later its gone again...

Good luck on the teeth situation...It's not fun having to deal with breaking teeth. One thing I can suggest is switch to Senysodine Toothpaste and Act mouthwa**** will help strengthen your teeth.
