Hi Dawn and Kay
Emotionally tough day yesterday. I had no appetite even though I was stressed. I was so upset all morning I cried until noon (long story and I can't even talk about it). I skipped breakfast which is unheard of for me. Then I ate lunch and swam extra hard today. There is a man at my pool that can barely walk. He crawls into the pool to swim. I whine about my lower body injuries but I need to be grateful for the mobility I have. I know people that don't exercise because of injuries but most people can move something they just need to move it. This man really is an example. Today he fell getting out of the pool and I could never lift him. I brought him a chair so he could pull himself up and we talked a while. I hope he isn't embarrassed and comes back today.
L:2 oz chicken, huge lettuce salad with mushrooms and red pepper
S:1/2 c fat free cottage cheese
D:chicken brat (from Sam's club 110 calories and 15 gms protein) and roasted veges: 10 asparagus, 19 green beans, 1/2 c mushrooms, 1/2 red pepper
S: pure protein bar 17 gms carb and 20 gms protein
736 calories

That is so true! We all whine and complain about aches and pains, both physical and emotional and there is nearly always someone who is far worse off than we are. I hope he comes back today too.
I know what you mean about stress. Early out (about a year) I wa**** with some mega stress and I could feel my stomach just close. I knew that if I ate ANYTHING, I would barf. Now,instead of a stress eater, I'm a stress starver. I knew at that moment that my issues with food were mindless stress eating..Now when I get to feeling out of control I fast because it's the best way for me to FEEL in control. I might not be able to control much in my life but I sure can control what I put in my mouth! Finally..I have control.
Those brats look interesting. I guess being chicken they'd be low in fat..I might like to try that.
