Accountability - Saturday
Well, activity was the order of the day today. No shopping at all. We went out to breakfast and then home for me to work on the house. I rearranged the kitchen to get ready for the cabinet upgrade (adding 6 ft base cabinet and counter top) and then I vacuumed and carpet shampooed 2/3 of the house...The rest, tomorrow. Then we were going to a car show and then to friends' house to play bingo. We were playing for 25 cents a game and we won nearly every game...There was dessert but I didn't have any...I was a good girl. Until I got home and then I hit the protein/sugar free cake I'd made earlier in the week. Totals to follow.
List for the day:
B: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, raw strawberries
2B: 3 fried eggs, cottage cheese, bacon, refried beans and salsa
L: 1 cup chili con carne with beans (the last of my chili cook off chili...time to make more)
No snacks (amazing! When I'm busy, I don't snack. Note to self: stay busy)
D: 4 oz ribeye steak, 1/2 baked potato with butter and sour cream
Dessert: 1 sugar free/protein cake (ala eggface) raw strawberries, 1 T Sugar Free
Caramel Sauce.
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1723
Fat: 72.8
Carbs: 145.6
Protein: 129.8
Protein number should be higher from the protein cake..I still haven't gotten the recipe numbers figured out yet. I got in all five of the containers of water (120 oz). 30% protein, 32% carbs..
All in all not a bad day because I didn't sit down for more than a few minutes at a time all day. Vacuuming and shampooing are the two most active things I can do around the house. I'm sore but I'm happy with the way the house is turning out. I should have started on this in February.
I did have an issue with the way two pairs of jeans are fitting. Seems not working out on wii is putting a muffin top on my hiphugger jeans...No extra weight but the flab is taking over...So, back to the wii...and soon.
How did you do today?

Hi Dawn and Everyone Else !!
I was jammin' busy just like Dawn yesterday, unfortnately I cannot say that it meant I had no time to snack, instead all I did was make snacks (grazing) my food of choice...The result was a carb mania...I stopped trying to put it all down when I reach 150 carbs for the day and the protein was still under 50
...It was a wasted food day...
But, as Dawn says, thats what do-overs are food...Back on track today (Sunday) will check in later and report early tomorrow on my recovery...
Have a nice Sunday...Alesia 5'5" 135lbs

Well, the good thing is that if you were busy, busy, those carbs were used up and not stored so...It may not have been a good protein day but it was a busy day so...it washes.
Do overs on Sunday. It works! Have a great Sunday! See ya.

We came home early because of the cold and rain. I am glad we drove on Thursday. Friday was beautiful and 80 degrees. We hiked and the lab went swimming in Lake Michigan. It couldn't have been more than 40 degrees. I had to limit her because I didn't want her getting hypothermic. She wasn't even shivering and wanted more fetching. I would have had to go out to get her and even with all my body fat I wouldn't have been able to swim too long. We dropped the trailer off in Madison so the shower can be fixed (it drips) before we go to Macinach Island at the end of the month. A lot of sitting in the car yesterday. It was nice to spend time with my husband. The dog slept all the way home. I had a huge weight loss at weigh****chers Thursday. 8.9 lbs. from Saturday to Thursday. I have been tracking my food for a while but this week was really great! It has to be the low carbs and high protein. I still have no appetite at all. I don't remember ever not being hungry. I still don't feel like I have eaten anything but I have no appetite.

Hello Dawn
I had a good day Saturday. I helped my parents with their garage sale. They made $110.50! After the sale, I went to the "Sweet grass festival" with my parents, daughter, niece and nephew. I splurged with my eating at the festival. After the festival, we went downtown and walked on the battery and let the kids play in the park.
Breakfast:
2 scrambled eggs with cheese
3 strips of turkey bacon
Lunch:
Can of smoked oysters
1 oz of RF cheddar cheese cheese
1 90 calorie pack of wheat special k crackers
( I love to eat my smoked oysters with cheese and crackers.. yum)
Dinner at the festive.. (not eaten all at same time)
1 deep fried soft shell blue crab
2 BBQ Pork spare rib w/ 1 slice of WHITE bread .. i NEVER eat white bread
About 1/2 cup of boiled peanuts
Late Snack:
My niece, daughter made brownies so I just HAD to have one!
High on calories and low on protein. I cant promise that I'll do any better today because I'm going to a cookout later but I'll try then I'll defiantly be back on track on Monday!
