Nice lazy day. I love to have those. That's exactly why I love going to get my allergy shots! I thought of this yesterday. I have to sit there for a full half hour seeing if there is a reaction so I have a whole half hour to sit quietly and read a magazine. And not a muscle car magazine or good housekeeping..I read PEOPLE! or SMITHSONIAN...hahahah..A whole half hour to myself, once a week. And I'm gonna miss it when I don't have that anymore. My allergies are just about gone. He said one more year. I'm gonna have to have a lock installed on the bathroom door, I guess.

Good list. You do so good on your numbers too. Keep up the good work. See Ya.

Hey Dawn,

I was checking in and saw you posted already for Tuesday's food, usually do this in the a.m. but I'm here now, so checking in...Not a good day, protein WAY too low and I'm stuffed so would not be comfortable eating anything else, even a protein shake right now, and for me it is bed time...My morning snack was too low in protein, thought the cheese was higher and the latte has less than my protein shake so was short there too...

Anyway, Wednesday is a new day and I'm going to go heavy on the protein to make up for what was missing today...

B - venti triple sf nf gingerbread latte & 2 pb girl scout cookies

S- laughing cow wedge and 6 mini tomato basil crackers

S2 - homemade coffeehouse style coffee

L - 4 oz grilled pork chop, 1/2 c steamed broccoli and 1/4 c rice-a-roni & 5 expresso beans

D - 1 chicken strip, 1/2 a serving basket of homemade potato chips and 1 carrot stick with ranch

water/ crystal light  118oz                 Cals - 931     Fat - 40     NetCarbs - 82      Protein - 58

I'll check in during the a.m. tomorrow...Hope everyone else had a good day...

Maybe you didn't get enough protein but your calories are really low too so I would think the protein percentage is about right..The only carbs that were bad might be the rice-a-roni but that's such a small amount, I say the day was a success! You did good.

Have a great day! See ya.

S-100 cal cheetos
D-Papa murphy delite pizza

Right now strawberries are super good...I heard last week that the average American eats 4+ pounds of strawberries a year. I ate three pounds myself in the last three weeks! Yum. But tomorrow? Back to the applesauce.

I'm rediscovering my crockpot with chicken and pork chops and salsa...salsa fixes alot of things! LOL.

Running in the heat is a hard thing. I remember in Track we used to have to run before the sun came up because as soon as the sun was up it was pushing 100 degrees. I'm thinking of doing that myself...walking earlier. I have been walking in the afternoons but I think mornings might be better.

You're doing good. Great list, even with pizza and cheetos. Thank GOD for those 100 calorie packs. I'd be eating my normal 1200 calorie pack (the whole stinkin bag!) if not for those. Murphy's has 100 calorie packs of sugar free cookies..I just found those a week ago!

Keep up the good work. See ya.

Good morning ladies:
What a day!  Started off fine and then I lost it and ate a cup of granola and a dozen almonds.  It was emotional eating because I wrote my weight loss story and was upset with the way this has evolved.  I was feeling sorry for myself.  So many regrets and shameful experiences.  I have worked very hard over the past 30 years to not eat out of emotion and guilt.  I never closet eat for many years.  I remember a woman a 30 years ago confessing hiding candy bars in her laundry room.  We can look at people and by their size know how they eat.  Why deny it?  Anyways, I was soooooooo hungry the rest of the afternoon.  It took everything to only eat protein after that.  Blood sugar didn't crash though.  I just don't get it!  You are so consistent day after day.  I admire all of you.  Daisy

B: 2 oz chicken
S: 2 oz chicken and celery cooked to make soup
L: 1 c granola and almonds
D: 2 oz chicken

It's really hard to not let emotion shove stuff into our gut occasionally.

I try really hard not to judge people by their size because there are health issues that cause weight gain that I can't even fathom. But you are right. The world does judge us by what we look like. Heavy women that I know think ill of me, probably thinking "skinny *****" just looking at me. I don't know this for SURE but I imagine it and that's usually good enough for my pea brain. One thing is for sure. You have no control over what other people think. You can only fix how you react to that..A good, mental "SO WHAT?" is sometimes in order.

Those carbs will "ask" for more carbs after you eat just alittle. Maybe not even enough to make your sugar crash but it's "asking" for more and more and more. Almonds have enough protein that they may not crash you...granola is iffy but you got through it!

You did good not giving in to that carb craving..Tomorrow is another day! You did it and once you start it's easy and gets easier.

Be SURE and drink enough water for the protein you're getting in. That's important too. It also helps with the carb craving for me.

Keep up the good work! It's working! See ya.

I think the extra water I drank helped get me through last night.  Thanks for your encouragement.  I surely wasn't trying to pick on fat people as I am one.  Why hide food though?  If I am going to eat by golly I am going to enjoy it.    Today is going better!   Daisy
