Vitamin survey
I'm 16 months out, trying to lose the last 15 pounds, and I'm just trying to do a self-check on all aspects of my post-surgery health, including vitamins.
I'm currently taking B12 dots, 2 bariatric advantage multis, 2 bariatric advantage calciums, and 1 bariatric advantage iron every day. I'm just curious to see what everyone else is doing this far out.
Se tell me, what's your vitamin regiment? What's your schedule and which supplements do you use?
Thanks!

Hi Im 3 years out and have always taken the required vitamins and minerals. I recently started taking those Bariatric Fushions. which has all our daily reguirments together, you take 4 chewables a day. They have all the vitamins, calcium and vitamin B-12 we need. Takes the guess work out. Ive seen a increase in energy and I feel great, check them out ,at Bariatric Fusion.com .Deb
Hi Ladies! I take Bariatric Fusion too (Berry flavored) and I really like them. My surgeon does still have me supplement my calcium though, so I take 2 Bariatric Advantage Cinnamon chewables daily. I also had low B12 so I take 2 sublingual dots every other day and sometimes I still take some B6.

I know I'll get FLAMED big time but I'm in a 'tell it like it is mood today"
5+years out and I take vitamins only when I remember. Which is not often. And I haven't taken them on a regular bases since the first year.
When I went for my 5 year check up back in Oct I told my doc this and she wasn't very concerned. Skin, teeth, hair, labs are all FINE. I'm healthy and happy.
NOW is this normal ???? It is for me.

My labs dictate what I take and how much, I'm one of those I guess required to take allot.
2 Centruim Multi-vitamins
6 calcium citrate w/Vit D and Magnesium (3000 mg calcium citrate)
Iron (150 mg elemental iron)
B-12 sublingual (1000 mg)
2 Super B Complex
1 Magnesium Citrate (140 mg elemental)
2 Chewable Vitamin C (1000 mg)
1 Vitamin A (25000 iu)
4 Vitamin D3 (20000 iu)
1 Potassium
2 Vitamin E (800 iu)
1 Folic Acid
1 Zinc (Chelated 50 mg)
Yes this is a lot, I had gotten lax on my vitamins (taking some, skipping some) and my labs had some scary drops in A, D, Iron and Calcium.
