Late night. I had support group meeting in town so I had dinner at a restaurant...more than enough water. My error was in thinking that the chicken breast I ate was about 4 ounces. Turns out, right on the menu, it says 6 ounces...so...my totals are higher than I thought.

List for the day:

5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:30 am 1/3 cup instant oatmeal, 1/4 cup fine granule TVP, 1 cup plain soy milk, 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Fruit Punch
9:00 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 oz roasted turkey breast deli meat
9:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, SoBe Living Tropical
10:45 am 1 cup lettuce, 2 slices tomato, 4 oz chicken breast, 1 oz zesty non-fat italian dressing(the lettuce was horrible. I counted it as a cup but it surely wasn't)
11:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Lemonade
2:00 pm 1 hard boiled egg, 4 oz Dannon Light n Fit
2:45 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Wild Strawberry
4:00 pm 24 oz Cappacino Coffee drink w/Protein added
5:30 pm 1 grilled chicken breast sandwich wrapped in lettuce with tomato and thousand island dressing
6:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Peach

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1547
Fat: 49.0
Carbs: 114.0
Protein: 153.4

All in all, a very good day. I'm up late tonight because not only am I making chili for the competition tomorrow but I stepped up to make a cheese cake too. I'm making a chocolate sugar free cheese cake...heheheh...the judges won't know, cuz I won't tell em.  There's a chance that I'll win my fifth chili competition AND my first cheese cake competition..

How did you do today?

Wow! Your list is awesome. How you manage to eat that long list of stuff and stay under 1300 calories....AMAZING..Good for you!

Yeah, I'm done baking this morning and I'm all puffed up and my head is really swelled because it really looks like my sister made it (she's a professional cake baker at Ralphs for 25 years!) But wait till they cut it up and say yuck from the taste. LOL. I powdered some splenda and shaved some sugar free chocolate in the middle. It came out of the spring form pan like magic...

The chili is smelling AWESOME. I made home made adobo sauce. Beef chorizo, bell peppers, onions, alittle garlic and mexican chili powder and paprika, black, red and white beans. Topped with alittle cilantro. It's got a nice sweet semi start when you first taste it but the heat builds and it has a bit of a kick at the end...not overpowering..LOL. I'm just WAY too pleased with myself.

I have to be headed for a fall! Have a great day. See ya.

Thanks, Dawn.
Your chili sounds amazing! I took a container out the freezer so that's what I'm having for lunch.
At least a few times a week, people ask me how I get my calories to stay so low.
I measure everything, count everything and the majority of my smart ones (ww frozen dinners) are under 220 calories. I do have a few favorites like the one i had yesterday that's higher in calories and carbs but when i eat them, i just make sure i eat low calorie the rest of the day.
Here is a look at my fitday for anybody who is wondering....

I have been baking cheesecake since 2003 when I got serious about my diabetes and a friend was a great cheesecake baker and got me into it.  I was thinking about entering it in State fair this summer.  You might want to reconsider telling them your recipe because some people are allergic to Splenda and have major stomach cramping from it.  My sister, daughter and husband get violently ill from it.  Good luck.  I talked to my nut this morning and she gave me the all clear on fruits and veges.  I eat so many that I hold back because I was worried about ruining my surgery further.  She said go for it.  Just count calories.  Thank goodness!  My chicken breasts are always 6 oz too.  Sometimes I eat them sometimes I cut them in half.

B: Light multi grain English muffin and 2 oz lean ham
S: 1 sf cocoa and 4 oz kiwi
L: 3 oz chicken breast, 1 slice whole grain bread, huge salad of romaine, 1/2 cucumber and big tomato with fat free dressing
S: protein bar after swimming (blood sugar crash)
D: 3 oz chicken breast, can of tomato soup, 1/2 bag ff popcorn, cole slaw made with ff dressing, 1 slice of ff cheese
S: 1 c sf ff pudding, light whole grain English muffin, 3 oz ham

1665 calories
This is the best I can do so it is a good day for me.

I wanted to tell them but the head of the competition said she wasn't going to. I don't think anyone in our district (at least in our immediate group) would be a judge in a baking competition without asking. But I'll mention it to the head of it.

I have to admit the way this thing looks, I should win a prize no matter HOW it tastes! LOL. I'll post pictures.

I also made coleslaw this morning..my favorite salad with splenda and oil and vinegar...carrots and raisins. yum.

Your list looks pretty good. I'm not sure how my lists can be lower than yours when I'm eating twice the meat you are at my meals...The only thing missing is the bread from my list.

Keep up the good work.

I am hungry just looking at your pictures!!!!  I use the calories on the packages because calories are all that I count.  I am supposed to LIMIT my protein to 100 gms.  That is hard for me to do.  If I go under once in a while that would be good for me.  Daisy

Hi to All :

Hey Dawn, don't sweat the chicken, 6oz of protein packed chicken is a GOOD thing to "over" eat on if you can fit it in comfortably

It does take a some time to eat that much chicken but I'd rather pack that into my pouch than pasta or bread or rice...With the amount of protein I'm getting and the amount of water I'm getting, my kidneys are safe, according to my nut and surgeon...besides, carbs make me sleepy and I get that hypoglycemic deal going on...carb coma I like to call it.

My iron is higher now than it was pre-surgery...my B-12 and calcium is higher too...without protein shakes too...hmmm. seems I don't malabsorb like most.

Your list is really good. Good high protein for that low calorie number too...Awesome! stairs...yuck but what exercise!

Keep up the good work.
