Wednesday...Hump day.

5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:30 am 1/3 cup instant oatmeal, 1/4 cup fine granule TVP, 1 cup plain soy milk, 1/2 cup applesauce
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Lemon Berry
8:30 am 1 pc roast beef deli meat, 1/2 oz cream cheese
9:00 am 12 oz Drink Mix, Grape
9:15 am 6 medium strawberries and 8 chunks fresh pineapple
11:00 am 12 oz Drink Mix, Grape
11:30 am 12 oz Drink Mix, G2 Gatorade
12:00 pm 1/2 chicken quesadilla and 1/4 cup refried beans
1:00 pm 12 oz Drink Mix, G2 Gatorade
2:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Orange Caffeinated
3:50 pm hard boiled egg
4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Strawberry Banana

6:15 pm 5 oz corned beef, a tiny bit of cabbage...seriously, I'm stuffed.

Fat: 63.6
Carbs: 149.4
Protein: 102.7

The thing about the carbs is the G2...Carbs are 41 grams in that stuff...way high. Not hardly worth it at all. I bought it actually for the bottle and not the stuff inside. I'm not sure if it's good carbs or bad. I'm thinking not good but it didn't give me a carb hangover. Maybe because I split it up and only drank half before lunch and then the other half.

Otherwise, if you remove the 41 for carbs..I did good. How did you do?

B:1/2 c fat free cottage cheese, 1/2 c eggbeaters, 1/4 c buckwheat flour (pancakes) with sugar free syrup
L: 4 oz chicken breast, salsa, 1/2 cucumber, tomato, romaine salad with olive oil and vinegar, and a slice of whole grain bread
S:1/2 c oatmeal, 1/4 c cherries and 1 T smart balance
D: 3 oz lean ham and a 3 oz yam
S: large bag of light popcorn (I was soooooooo hungry I needed to munch)
2 cups of milk in my coffee and decaf throughout the day and tons of crystal light


My probem today was I didn't eat enough fruit and veges.  I bet I could have replaced the popcorn with a huge salad...oh well.  I will talk to you all on Monday as I am going RVing Thursday!

You probably could replace that popcorn with fruit too or not. Popcorn has good fiber in it and it's alittle tough to digest so I figure it's a good carb. So if you total them up you got three servings of fruits or veggies. and more than enough (maybe three or four servings) of healthy carbs with the buckwheat and popcorn. You did pretty good. Keep up the good work.

Good evening, Dawn. Today was a good day.

My good eats...

Early AM: 16 oz of iced coffee w/ FF calorie countdown milk & splenda

Breakfast:  Smart Ones ham & cheese english muffin

Snack: Apple

Lunch:  Power crunch bar & Carb/Sugar control yogart

Snack:  RTD EAS Protein shake

Dinner: Ground beef, cheese, lettuce, onions, salsa & light sour cream in a low carb wheat pita. 

Snack: Not tonight.. I'm full! 

**My New Find...  I found these wheat pita's at walmart with only 8 carbs and 60 calories. They also have flax seed in them!

I have some low carb pitas in the fridge right now...I think we tried them right around Christmas time. Good stuff! I'm always trying to find something I can have over bread. A loaf of whole wheat bread can last me a month if I freeze it but my freezer is stuffed with that junk. LOL.

I did pretty good today; no cookies or bread! Lots of exercise and I feel great! I did an hour of zumba and then ran for fourty minutes at the Y. I had a nice day at work as well. I am going to shower and go to bed! I could not do the 5 day thing but stayed away from sugar! Besdie the fiber one muffin I only had good carbs. I love black bean soup! It was eggy's recipe and delicious as usual! I have all the stuff to make some of her microwave protein cakes I am going to try that this weekend to get me off my cookie binge! I did not even miss them today!
