Accountability - Tuesday
The day didn't start out so well. dh gave me his left over omelet but it had bacon and too much salt. I couldn't eat it. So the backup breakfast had to do...
5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:15 am 2 bites of an omelet with bacon, spinach, mushrooms and cheese. Too salty so I tossed it.
6:30 am 1/3 cup instant oatmeal, 1/4 cup fine granule TVP, 1 cup plain soy milk, 1/2 cup applesauce
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Lemon Berry
8:30 am 1 pc roast beef deli meat, 1/2 oz cream cheese
9:30 am 12 oz Drink Mix, Crystal Light Satisfaction Banana Strawberry
10:45 am 2 oz Lowrey's Beef Jerky
11:30 am 12 oz Drink Mix, Crystal Light Satisfaction Banana Strawberry
12:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Grapefruit Caffeinated
2:15 pm 1.5 cup fresh fruit medley and 1 oz cream cheese
3:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Fruit Punch
4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Orange
6:30 pm 5 oz steak broiled, 1/2 a very small roasted white potato with a tad of butter, 1/2 cup green beans
That's all of it. I can have a snack later...I'm thinking Ice Cream. I'll include totals from that even though a couple days ago I included that in my totals but never ended up having it. I'm not obesssive enough to go back in and edit my post to bring the totals down...LOL.

Good evening everyone! I got back from Disneyworld yesterday and am still a bit jet lagged. I had an all right day so far. I think I am going to do the 5 day thing tomorrow. I see the plastic surgeon on Monday fro my TT consult.
B-Starbucks reduced fat turkey bacon sandwich
S-brocoli and 2 oz chicken
L-inside of a philly sub and 10 fries
S-fiber one bar
S-100 cal pack of cheetos
D-scrambled eggbeaters w/2 % cheese, turkey sausage, 100 cal whole wheat english muffin w light butter spread and sf jam
S-small piece SF strawberry angel foood cake, strawberries and reddi-whip
I have to finish the daily plate but so far so good;I think. No exercise today but did tons of walking at D-World! I got all my water, vitamins and calcium! I have all my supplies for the 5 day thing; now I need the willpower to stick with it.I am off to make black bean soup for tomorrow. I have RTD protein drinks, two flavors of protein powder, SF jello cups, SF/FF pudding and several flavors of crystal light.

Even if you have to scale the 5 day pouch reset to what you can handle, it's still a good point of reference. You gain control and it makes you look at where you are and where you want to be. I couldn't do the clear liquids at all but did thick liquids and soft foods from day one of the test...And I could only do that for two days..
You did really well. The only semi bad thing would be the few things you had that would fill you up quick...Sometimes I use a part of a slice of whole wheat toast after I eat a breakfast and it keeps me full for a LONG time. The only trade off is I can't drink for a long time either..

Disappointing day today. I went to a foot surgeon for foot pain help and he looked at my body and gave me the "fat person" look and said my foot and toe joints are not lined up but he can't help me. I have trouble even weight baring on that foot so aside from swimming my movement is quite limited which is not helping weight loss at all.
B:1 cup fat free cottage cheese and a banana
S: low carb protein bar (in the doctor's waiting room...I eat these when I need a meal or snack on the run)
L: 3 oz beef tenderloin and 2 small potatoes, huge salad with 1 t. olive oil and vinegar and 1 t sunflower seeds
S: low carb protein bar ...again on the run
D:4 oz chicken breast, large yam, huge salad with 1 t. olive oil and vinegar and 1 t sunflower seeds
S: sf/ff pudding 1 c and an apple

The list looks pretty good. Sorry that the doctor treated you that way..The ONLY prejudice that is accepted any more from anyone is against fat people and it's just wrong. I try and make every effort to look at and speak to fat people in my dealings because one thing is they don't ever look you in the eyes. They don't SEE you...they see the fat..

, I'm sending a hug your way...
It stinks that so many people are visual, doctors included...And it stinks that we still feel the pain of that visual effect...Remember, you have succeeded if you have lost and kept off any of the weight you had before RNY...I know I still struggle with seeing a "fatter" person than others see in me and when I take it personally then my food demons rear up and quietly whisper in my ear to eat something to make it feel better...This is still the hardest part of my maintenance program, quelling the quiet voices undermining my success ...
You are making good, healthy choices, do what exercise you can do comfortably and keep up the good work ... Alesia
