It's a funny thing about stress and mental issues...I think I'm getting better. At least I ate. But I ate too much last night. I've been wanting prime rib so bad for some time. I finally got it last night.

Here's my list:

5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
5:30 am 1/3 cup instant oatmeal, 1/4 cup fine granule TVP, 1 cup soy milk, 2 chopped kiwi fruit
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, SoBe Tropical
9:30 am 1 oz Mozzarella Cheese Stick, 1 pc Roasted turkey breast deli meat, 1 pc sugar free black licorice
11:00 am 3 taquitos, 1 cup homemade chili with beans
11:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Orange
12:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, SoBe Tropical
2:50 pm 1 large hardboiled egg, 1 large orange
3:20 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Raspberry Ice
4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Grapefruit Caffeinated

7:00 pm 5 oz prime rib (ccoked medium rare), 1/2 cup veggie medley (mostly carrots and broccoli), a medium baked potato (this was a total mistake) and some of my husband's ceasar salad...

I finished the meal, couldn't believe I finished it. After a little while though, I started hurting because I ate too much. STILL not sure where to draw the line. I walked around the parking lot of Carrows twice before we drove home and all that potato effected me alittle with the carbs and such, I guess.

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1813
Fat: 71.5
Carbs: 174.3
Protein: 130.0

All in all, a good day. I'm still working through the hurt feelings from this week but I think I can do this. This weekend will be rough but I think I can get through it.

How did you do? BTW, sorry I'm so late. The carb coma last night got me..I slept like a log, which is a good thing and I did NOT have a snack last night...Everything I had is included in the list. Maybe that's why I feel so good about it.

Hello Dawn! I'm happy your feeling better and eating. When I have issues, I either eat too much or don't eat at all.... it's crazy!  Yesterday I did a lot of running around before work so I just grabbed something quick for breakfast. I liked it more than I thought so I had it again for lunch. It actually worked out well for the totals.

My good eats...

B~ Smart Ones Ham & Cheese Egg Mcmuffin

S~ 12 oz of Choc. calorie  countdown milk w/ 1/2 a scoop of protein mixed in.

L~ Smart Ones Ham & Cheese Egg Mcmuffin

S~ Protein shake

D~ Ribeye Steak w/ grilled onions and A1 & Grilled Asparagus

S~ Pure protein bar


Thess are my totals minus the 2 light beers I had with friends after work!!

Your numbers look great! You're right, the McMuffin really did something there. Of course the rest of it (ribeye steak...yum) didn't hurt either.

I do tend to stress starve. Before surgery, I used to stress eat. When I got stressed the first time after surgery it really opened my eyes! So I'm still working through it all.

Hi to All

Well, here I am accounting on the weekend, WOW, that has been a long time and really needed to be done...When I don't account I feel like its OK to eat stuff I would say "no" to at any other time, cuz "who'll know" right? - wrong, but thats how my mind works...So I'm glad to be here...

Friday wasn't too bad even with our weekly meal out I didn't go over the edge...Now today, thats another matter, my carbs are blasting out of the ozone today seeing it is really getting me thinking this is why I always pick up 1-2lbs every weekend that I cycle back into losing come Monday or Tuesday...Anyway, more on that tomorrow when the dust settles...For now Friday...

B - Starbucks SF NF B-52 latte

S1 - decaf SF chai latte with fruit tea

S2 - babybel lite cheese wheel & 2 saltines

L - 3.5 oz grilled flat iron steak and 1/2 cup of green beans w/ a little sausage mixed in

S1 - protein coffee

S2 - 1/4 c cinnamon pecans

D - about 3 oz chicken campagnola ( chicken with mozz, tomato & mushrooms grilled in white
        wine sauce ), 3 little strands of spaghetti rolled over my fork, 1 italian dinner roll, 2 slices 
        mozz & tomato salad, 2 calamari's dipped in marinara

S - 2 lemon crisp cookies

118 oz water/crystal light                    Cals :  1305     Fat :  49   NetCarbs :  96     Protein :  105

We go out for dinner on most Friday nights, so the totals are my best estimates from what I know ate for the day and what was on my plate at the restaurant...

You might be on the right track with your weekend gains...Maybe you found the problem...

I usually have a problem with water on the weekends and end up with a headache by Sunday...dehydration..And I'm working on it.

Otherwise, you did awesome. Love the calamari idea. really good idea.
