Not bad. I went home early today to spend time with my hubby...it's his birthday today.

So here's my list:

5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/3 cup oatmeal, 1/4 cup fine granule TVP, 1 cup plain soy milk, 2 kiwi fruit diced
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, SoBe Tropical
8:20 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 1 pc roasted turkey breast deli meat
9:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
9:30 am 1 large orange
10: 30 am 1 oz cream cheese and 6 raw strawberries
12:30 pm 3 oz chicken thigh meat, 1 cup lettuce, 3 thin slices tomato, 1 oz fat free zesty italian dressing
1:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Lemon
3:00 pm 1 large hard boiled egg

4:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Raspberry Ice

6:00 pm 5 oz lean ground beef patty, 2/3 slice cheddar cheese, 1 seedless tangerine (the little tiny ones)

So far, I have room for a dessert. Maybe some NSA Ice cream. Including the numbers from the Ice Cream:

Calories: 1692
Fat: 77.7
Carbs: 126.3
Protein: 129.0

Sheesh..Maybe I'll skip the ice cream. Great on the protein, meh on the carbs, good on the fat and MEH on the calories...

How did you do? Remember, one thing at a time. Just do one thing to change the way you approach your whole weight situation. If you need to eat more or less, start with one small thing.

Thank you! Yes, writing it down is a step and being truthful about it, that's huge. I mean you can measure and "say" it's a quarter cup when it's 2/3 cups, who would know? the thing is, you know and you feel bad about lying, even to yourself. Then you eat more (at least I do). And to cover it up, you lie about it again. It's terrible and like a downward spiral. When I think I'm slipping alittle, I break out the measuring cups and scale and check it. AND put some back if I'm over. LOL.

You did awesome! Really awesome.. Keep it up.

Hey, Hey to Dawn and all others who come to visit today

Back to my weekday journalling...I too am glad I have come back to post accountability, true said that journally 100% is the ONLY way to make it work, you have to be honest with yourself if no one else...Sneak eating from my early teens on was a huge contributor in my obesity, that is a cycle that had to end in order for this surgery to work for me...On that note, I decided after reading today that I need to account on Friday, Saturday and Sunday too - have been letting that slide and every weekend I creep up 1-2 lbs, by Wednesday they are gone and to Friday I hold steady, but then comes the weekend again, its starting to feel like a yo-yo that I don't want be part of my life anymore...

B - strawberry banana protein shake

S1 - protein coffee & a lemon creme horn

S2 - homemade coffeehouse drink

L - 3 oz crockpot homestyle pork roast, 1/3 c peas & corn, about 1/4 c steamed white rice

S - 5 dk choc espresso beans

D - 4 oz out of the taco meat and about 1 oz quesadilla cheese, topped it with 2 heaping tbsps of
homemade quacamole and garlic/artichoke salsa and had 2 heaping tbsps of spanish
       yellow rice

S - small cupped palm of homemade trailmix

121 oz water/crystal lite                    Cals :  1340   Fat :  55   Net Carbs :  80   Protein :  98

Not a bad day, no exercise Monday will miss again my regular Tuesday water aerobics because of another appt, will be back on track for exercise by Wednesday...Need my exercise, it helps me feel good ...

Until later, Alesia  5'5", 137

Hey Alesia,
Great list and great numbers. Carbs are lower than protein and that's a good thing.

My problem with the weekends has always been getting enough water so I have been working on that. Work on one thing at a time. Learn as you go. I'm a slow learner sometimes. LOL...So one thing at a time is all I can work on to change. When I get that down pat, then I can work on the next issue. Sometimes I have to re-work things out in my head first.

You did awesome on the water. And great on the exercise planning
