Accountability - Thursday

The morning started out early and bad when my puppy wanted to play at 2:30. dh let him out but let him back in later and he jumped up on the bed at 4:30 to barf. Great. So laundry started at 4:35 and I was up. Cranky isn't the way to wake up in the morning. But the day got better and I'll get my revenge on that little pooch!

We're going to take that puppy and the kitten to the vet for a shot clinic...cheaper that way. And I need to ask some questions about house cats and their shots. So I'm posting early. I'm thinking I need to post later so that I don't have a chance to cheat.

List for the day:

5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
5:30 am 1/3 cup instant oatmeal, 1/4 cup fine grain soya granules, 1 cup plain soy milk, 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

11:30 am 12 oz Drink Mix, Fruit Punch
12:30 pm 2 T Peanut Butter
1:00 pm 12 oz Drink Mix, Fruit Punch
1:45 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Grapefruit Caffeinated
2:30 pm 12 oz Drink Mix, Grape
3:15 pm 2 miniature tangerine (1/2 normal sized)
3:45 pm 12 oz Drink Mix, Grape
4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Orange

6:00 pm 4 oz braised beef roast, 1 cup vegetable stew (actually the two are the same thing but I wanted to get enough protein totals)

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1586
Fat: 59.3
Carbs: 141.6
Protein: 132.5

Good protein and fat numbers. carbs need work but at least they're good carbs. Wondering what to do this weekend...It's nearly here. Something to keep me busy and out of the kitchen and out of trouble.

How about you? How did you do?

Puppy barf laundry would not be my idea of a good morning either! Busy day at work due to the Swine flu hysteria. The media is not helping with this. No exercise just got home and have to be back by 0700 tomorrow! The puppy barf is sounding better and better now that i think of it!
B-1/2 bacon and egg sandwich on low carb bread, strawberries and cool whip
S-sf cookie
L-grilled chicken and asparagus on mixed greens with vinagrette dressing, wheat roll and 1/2 cookie
S-other half of cookie
S-quaker cheese quackers
D-teriyaki chicken with salad
S-not sure, maybe more strawberries and I forgot I had a banana waiting for dinner
only half my water, forfot my vitamins and no exercise; stinky day! Tomorrow will be better!

I can not figure out what the media is up to on this! I think the hype on this is diverting our attention when we would notice something else! (like the joy ride someone took in Air Force One that traumatized NYC a few days ago! Cost US 328,000 dollars not to mention the cost to evacuate all those buildings and trauma for those suffering stress from 9/11)

Your list is still good. With what's going on at work, you probably needed the extra energy from the carbs, I would guess. You're on the front lines of the media hysteria so...take care of yourself.
Yup, tomorrow is another day (as said like Scarlet O'Hara in Gone with the Wind). LOL. Keep up the good work.See ya.

I have most of my unplanned snacks (carb heavy) when nothing is happening. If I could stay busy, I wouldn't snack. I do so well at work because when it's boring, I walk to a different department and delivery mail...

Ah, the weekend. I'm SO ready. And dh is turning 66 on Monday.

Good numbers, even if the carbs are alittle high..Keep up the good work. Have a great weekend!

Hey everyone. I have missed being on here so bad. I have been really very sick. My heart is trying to act up on me. And my weight got even lower. way under 100. But I am trying to eat and do better. The doctor said I had to eat fat and grease. The doctor in the hospital said I cant live on just veggies. And that was all I was eating. I got to eat meat. So I went and got a kids meal at Mcdonalds. I have moved and so, so excited. I got out of the tore up trailer and trailer park. I have my own yard. I can't believe it. God sure is blessing me over and over. Only thing is that I moved across the funeral home I will be going to one day. It kinda makes me think of that is were I will be soon. Had to have my dog put to sleep and that hurt real bad. But thank God for every thing in this world. I am just so blessed I cant tell ya. God bless you all and so glad to be back and alive and kicking.

It's the last loving thing we can do for our pets is to let them pass peacefully. Bless you for doing that for your pooch. It does hurt but it makes it better for them and that's what we need to focus on.

Good that you're eating more meat. Yes, veggies are good but you need more of everything. Please keep up the eating and don't go for the low fat or low carb ANYTHING...you need high EVERYTHING.

Maybe the change of location will help your outlook. Yes, living across from the funeral home can be sad. many people die way too young and if you keep on that starvation path, you will too...Your kids would hurt so bad if you were lost so do what the doctors say. And...plant some flowers in your new yard. That always makes me feel so hopeful. When the grapevines sprout out in the spring after I've chopped them back in the winter...they always look nearly dead after I trim them but then the buds start and the little clusters of grapes come out...Hope of new life! I put spaghetti squash in a pot in my living room and they're coming up. Soon I'll have spaghetti squash growing in my house...Too much fun.

What happened with the support group? Did they find something that you could fit into?

They are so stupid.....they put me in anger management. I don't see any anger. My kids died laughing. I don't mind going. It gets me out of the house. I like the women in there too. Way to funny. And the man that teaches the class is so freaking hot. lol...sick but not dead. I still love to see a good looking man. Don't see many around here. lol

I did some soul searching on anger and found that I tend to reach for the crappy food when I'm mad at someone so it's logical for them to think you're anger causes you to stay away from food...Maybe they think that you're thinking you don't "deserve" to eat because you're "bad." Which is pretty twisted but when they look at psychological issues, they must see that alot.

Hey, if the group leader is hot, all the more reason to go, right? LOL. I can totally understand that. When I was in Catholic school, there was a priest there that was hot and I took his classes just because he was. I mean, he was a priest for crying out loud...all I could do was look but the lookin was GREAT!

Take it easy and get better. Keep me posted! See ya.

Happy Friday

Yesterday was even further out of control on the muchie front than Wednesday was...Need a kick in the a**, will settle for slapping myself around a couple of times ...Unfortunatelym I foresee alot of snacking today too, we are having our monthly office potluck and passing the kitchen at this time of the month is nigh on impossible for me ...The good news is that everyone brought protein rich foods except for one dessert, so the choices available to snack on will be "good" one when falling of the wagon...

Now for Thursdays food :

B - choc & pb protein shake

S1 - homemade coffeehouse drink

S2 - 7 smokehouse almonds

L - 1/2 a rotisserie chicken breast/wing piece, 1 cauliflower floret with cheddar cheese sauce, 1/4 c baby limas, 1/2 c seafood salad

S1 - 3 dove dk choc mini eggs

S2 - 1tbps pb (licked right off the spoon ), 3 dk choc espresso beans and a sugar cookie

D (?) - Starbucks venti decaf sf nf cinnamon dulce latte

S - 1/4 cup sunflower seeds & 3 dk choc covered pecans

118 oz water/crystal lite             Cals :  1447   Fat :  70   NetCarbs :  96   Protein :  106

WOW, the carbs are WAY of the chart!...Amazing I'm holding steady at 135 today, tonight I will get in a 2 mile run at the gym on the tread so that should help offset...

Have a great weekend...Until Monday...
