Well, I survived the dinner for Administrative Assistants Day. I did okay, I think. I'm still tallying it all up..It's hard to eat all those little finger foods and remember exactly what you ate...

List for the day:

6:00 am 1/3 cup instant oatmeal, 1/4 cup fine granule TVP, 1 cup plain soy milk,
6:30 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
7:00 am 24 oz drink mix, raspberry ice
8:00 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc roasted turkey breast deli meat
8:30 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
9:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Wild Strawberry
10:45 am 3 oz chicken thigh meat, 1 cup redleaf lettuce shredded, 2 slices tomato, 1 oz Zesty Light Italian dressing
11:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, SoBe Living Tropical
12:15 pm 1/2 oz cream cheese, 1 cup melon, raw, 2.5 oz queso fresco
12:45 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Blueberry
1:45 pm 4 oz ceviche
2:15 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Tangerine Strawberry (Caffeinated)
3:20 pm medium apple
4:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Wild Strawberry

Between 4 pm and 5:30 pm I ate this:

3 mini corn dogs with mustard. 2 chicken wing drumettes, about 3 cubic inches of crustless quiche and a meatless egg roll. Yup, I think that was all of it.

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1565
Fat: 67.7
Carbs: 130.7
Protein: 116.5

Not too bad. I even had a glass of ice tea with splenda. I sipped it (cheater sips) after dinner. I looked like I was completely normal (ha!) until they passed the cookies and brownies. I would have had to leave really quick had I had one of those so I passed..I just told my host that I don't tolerate sugar well. Pretty simple answer, actually.

I did really well. I'm pretty proud of myself. I deserve a treat. Maybe I'll go play fetch with the puppy...he always loves that, me too.

How did you do today?
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I like a day to be quiet but not too quiet. That's happening at work for me too. Nothing happening...so it's so slow. I'd rather have a busy day so the day goes faster.

You did good. You usually do about 1200 calories..Your protein runs about 100 or so and the carbs are lower. Textbook numbers! Awesome.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

One of the plastic surgeons I saw last year is going to re submit my paperwork as I have new insurance; I am crossing my fingers they will chip in a little bit for the surgery! I am still waiting to hear from the other clinic; i am going to call them tomorrow and see where we are at. I am going to jump in the shower ,watch Survivor with my daughter and go to bed! Tomorrow is my volunteer day for the cardiac pool at the YMCA. I take blood pressures and ask how they are feeling, I really enjoy it.
