Today, back on track...well, getting back on track. I tried to get my water in and just might do that. I'm on the lookout for Propel Fi****er and/or G2 drink in those 700ml bottles with the twist and drink lids. No one apparently carries them anymore..sad, I may have to look into re-usable stainless or plastic. I'm whiny and spoiled so it may take me some time to find what I want...Won't settle.

List for the day:

6:00 am 1/3 cup instant oatmeal, 1/4 cup fine granule TVP, 1 cup Plain Soy Milk, 1 medium banana
6:30 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
7:00 am 24 oz Vanilla Caramel Hot tea
9:00 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc roasted turkey breast deli meat, 1 tsp mustard
9:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, SoBe Living, Tropical
10:30 am 3 oz roasted chicken thigh meat, 10 small strawberries, 8 pineapple chunks, 1/4 oz cream cheese(what is it about fruit that makes it SO easy to eat? I intended to eat only half of the fruit but ate it all...sigh.)
12:00 pm 1 medium pear, raw
12:40 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Mixed Berry
2:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Wild Strawberry

5: 30 pm giant burger, well, 3/4 of it, with just the bottom part of the bun. I figure 6 oz of really high quality beef (sirloin) and a slice of bread (lettuce, tomato and pickle)  and about five french fries. We ate at Texas Cattle Company (cuz they have a 25 year anniversary sale going on...all burgers with fries are $2.50 for the month of April). My son LOVES that place.

7:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Wild Strawberry (it could happen..I'm thirsty)

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1535
Fat: 51.0
Carbs: 154.1
Protein: 125.4

Not bad. High on the carbs but for the most part (besides the bun and the fries) it was good carbs. Actually, just about on the money for my numbers.

So? How did you do?

Wow..hernia isn't anything to play with. Hopefully you can get it taken care of. Not knowing is even worse.

Your numbers are wonderful today. I can tell you had trouble eating...LOW on the calories but that protein number is awesome for that low number.

It took me so long to eat that much meat..I felt stuffed for well over two hours!

Keep up the good work! See ya.

Hello ladies! Monday is over already, today went by fast and it was beautiful outside! I went for a walk at lunch with a co qworker and then ran 3 miles at theYMCA tonight. I am ready for bed! I ate too much. I had wanted to get back to basics but ate some white carbs. Tomorrow is another day.
B- protein drink with 1 C strawberries
S-cottage cheese and peaches
L-1/2 sandwich with only half the bread
S-other half of sandwich with half the bread
S-boiled egg and string cheese
S-RF wheat thins
D- Home made mac N cheese it was  a lite recipe with whole wheat elbow macoroni and pureed cauliflower and reduced fat cheese; it was really good.
S-Mcdonalds ice cream cone
S-string cheese and rf wheat thins
It was painful to write all this down in the daily plate. Protein was over 100 but the carbs were over 200! I got all my water and vitamins. I may have to do the 5 daything like dawn did; this is getting crazy! I am being worked up for hernia repair as well; I am goiing for a self pay TT as well.

Wow...where did the carbs come from? I see carbs there but I wouldn't have thought it would amount to that much.

Still, carbs, GOOD carbs aren't bad for you..They give the body ready energy. Carbs can be a trigger food though. The more carbs I eat, the more carbs I want. That's why I did the 5 day pouch test. I figure it's a carb re-set for me..

hernia repair and a TT? cool. Can you do them both at the same time? That would be nice.

I actually got most of my tummy tuck covered by insurance BECAUSE I had a hernia repair at the same time.

Hi All,

It seems like its been a hundred years since I reported into ACCOUNTABILITY and I'm feeling the need to get some compliance in my life again...The choices not always the best and while life goes on I don't want to slide down the slope of complacence...I told myself this weekend, girl  - on Monday you start taking account again...So here it is for better or worse and hopefully writing it down to someone besides me will make me feel guilty enough to stop myself when the really bad choice rears its ugly head and calls me into the kitchen  ...

B - pb & choc protein frappachino

S - hard boiled egg & 4 slices thin ready cook bacon

S - my homemade coffeehouse drink ( has 1 tbsp sf int'l coffee powder,  tbsp sf creamer,
2 oz carb countdown milk and reg coffee blended together in a 14 oz cup)

L - 4 1/4 oz baked turkey breast with 2 tbsp gravy & 1/2 c stirfry
       (bokchoy, mushrooms, asparagus & onions

S - homemade coffeehouse drink (this one had Oh protein drink instead of carb countdown)

D - lemon creme horn, a small choc chip cookie & a prune

         Water/Crystal light 128 oz   -   cals : 1191, fat : 63,  net carbs : 70,  prot : 87

OK, so the day was looking good, planned for a protein bar before going to my support group  meeting, then got overwhelmed at work and left the office without it ( poor planning )...When I got home from the meeting I saw the last creme horn in the tupperware and reached before thinking, one bite and I was a goner, carbs & sugars are definately a trigger for me, if I don't start I don't miss, but if I go there I fight wanting  them the rest of the day

Thanks for listening, be back later to post again...

It takes a lot to actually journal your food because you have to look at the list and the totals but it's a completely DIFFERENT thing to post it where everyone can see and comment on it...You are stepping up and out and doing it...Good for you!

I hear those voices too. I run the other way. That's why I got my craft stuff out of mothballs. When you have glue all over and little bits of paper on the table, it's hard to heed that voice that calls for food from the kitchen..So it's better. And then there's the dogs, they need walking and the laundry needs hanging...all of which also call to me and I find the more I ignore that kitchen voice and listen to the other little voices, the softer and softer that kitchen voice is...LOL Funny how that works.

As for those rotten little white carbs..They have just the same amount of carbs as like a pile of strawberries but the creme horn has that loud nagging voice...MORE! Don't start and you definitely won't miss it.. You can build up your strength and maybe still have part of one after a while...just not while you're ousting demons.

Good for you! Keep up the good/hard work...See ya.
