Accountability - Sunday
Well, the weekend is over..And it went out with a bang. Barbeque with friends. Of course I had a beer, well, two beers. Otherwise, I made good choices.
List for the day:
B: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, banana
2: 3 egg omelet with cheese and chili
L: not much..just a snack: 2 pc SF Chocolate easter candy and a deviled egg (last one!)
Dinner: 2 beers...yup, two. Then 4 oz of steak, 1/2 cup of coleslaw, 3 pc raw pineapple, 2 small raw strawberries and about an ounce of low fat cream cheese (probably not a whole ounce but I'll count it that way).
So...here's the damages:
Calories: 1957
Fat: 84.8
Carbs: 135.2
Protein: 122.7
High calories and high carbs but protein isn't all that bad. I got in 4 bottles of water (not counting coffee or alcohol)...I will probably need another bottle, otherwise, I'll have a hangover.
How did your weekend go? Things go good? Things go awry? Well, tomorrow we start all over again..We get another chance to steady the course and head in the right direction.

Hello Dawn! I had a relaxing Sunday. I just hung out around the house with my daughter, neice and nephew.

3 strips of turkey bacon

Turkey & broccoli lean pocket

I ate grits for a long time after surgery but switched to oatmeal. Then when I tried grits again, wrecked my blood sugar...but the last couple of days bananas haven't caused that blood sugar issue so...maybe it's time to try the grits again.
Good list. Great numbers. I think the weekends until fall may be full for me....That's usually the way my summer goes.

I worked all day but it was a nice day to be there!

Just the stairs at work and lots of walking. I got all my water and vitamins. Husband was home from drill before I was so he took our daughter out to dinner for a special treat since she was with the neighbors all weekend. He drives me crazy but it was nice to have him home and he is such a sweet daddy.

Stairs are good exercise. Hey, stairmaster sells BIG time on television so why not climb stairs instead?
I know about the dh thing. We've been together through thick and thin (and there's been TONS of thin) but after 22 years, I can honestly say it's been a hellova ride! His oldest is 38 and our youngest is 17 and a half...10 grandkids...We built our own house and have done a dozen classic cars together...Hellova ride! Hopefully another 20 years and I'll be done with him, I guess. LOL.
