Accountability - Saturday
Well, the 5K went well. This time I had plenty of water and some added carbs (protein bar) and still had lots of room for dinner to mess up (had a 1/4 of a medium canadian bacon with added 2 oz of ham and can't eat a bite more..) This is the first weekend of the summer for us...First weekend of 80 plus degrees...
List for the day:
B: 1/3 cup instant oatmeal, 1/4 cup fine grain TVP, 1 cup soy milk, 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce, 1, well, 2 cups of coffee
24 oz water
16 oz water
Snack: 3/4 of a crispy meal replacement bar (South Beach, Peanut Butter)
24 oz water
Lunch: 1 chicken taco
24 oz water, SoBe with protein
Snack: 1 oz queso fresco cheese, 4 oz ceviche (imm crab meat)
Snack: SF Chocolate easter eggs (2)
24 oz water
Dinner: 1/4 of a canadian bacon Dominoes Pizza with 2 added ounces of baked ham
should have another water bottle. I may have to do some yoga to stretch out these achy muscles. Church and a barbeque tomorrow. dh loves to invite people over before he lets me know he wants to do that...surprise barbeques happen regularly. On the fly is how we roll. LOL.

Congratulations on the 5 K and improving your time! I found some lavender scented epsom salts at bartell's to soak inwhenI was sore last week; it really helped. I am home form work had a pretty good day, I am heading off to bed in a few minutes. My daughter was with the neighbor all day and wanted two friends to stay the night; I said no. I have to go to work again in the morning and she has to go back to the neighbors. What drama; you would of thought I cut off a finger the way she carried on. I am disappointed an 8 year old could be that selfish and irrational. Maybe I am expecting too much from her and actually she is probably just tired. I just gave her a snack in my bed while I came to do this and she was already ina better mood; maybe I am cranky too!

Girls can be hot and cold in the same minute...It just gets worse when they are teenagers. Take it from one who has lived through three teenage girls. Worse for me, since I'm used to teenage girls, is my son, who is luke warm over everything so nothing is done. I took three days off to be with him during his spring break. He thought bowling, miniature golf, a movie...all sounded good. Did we do any of that? Nope. I feel like I wasted three days off (which do NOT come easy with my work, we may have budget cuts and that will effect my ability to even GET days off) and all we did was go out to breakfast a couple of times...And his breakfast is about when my FIRST lunch is. LOL. Teenagers. Youth is wasted on the young.
Your list is good with the stairs all day. That can be hard on your legs and thighs. When we were on the ship, rather than wait for the elevator, we took the stairs alot. So my legs ached...Don't miss the stairs at ALL.

Congrats on the 5 K! I had a good Saturday. My daughter, mom and I went shopping all day then we came home and watched twilight.
Breakfast:
2 boiled eggs

100 calorie pack of chocolate covered pretzels

Oh I know that feeling! Sticker shock! We went to Chili's and had just an appetizer. When I got home, I checked the stats on that plate of appetizers...1700 calories. YIKES. And hubby and I split it. It was good but sure not worth it.
Well, tomorrow is another day as they say...we get "do-overs".
Shopping with just the girls is so much fun. I miss that. I used to go with my step daughter and daughter. It was fun..Before that I used to shop with my sister and her three and my one daughter...What a zoo we had! What fun.. too many years ago to get over thinking about it. LOL.
