Accountability - Friday
Well, it's at least Friday. I'll miss the support group tomorrow because I'll be walking for MS at the 2009 MS Walk in Lancaster..Dh is walking with me. I don't think our son will be walking with us but it's alright...I need to do this for my mom..
List for the day:
Breakfast: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, applesauce, coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
2Breakfast: 2 eggs, 1 slice rye toast (without the crust), 1/2 cup grits with butter and splenda
L: nothing...I got busy cleaning the house and doing laundry
D: 5 oz lean burger patty (no bun)with pizza sauce and parm cheese, 1/2 cup coleslaw
I had four containers of water and a half of a wine cooler, 3 cups of coffee.
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1472
Fat: 70.3
Carbs: 103.9
Protein: 101.0
Not all that bad. There are things I could have skipped but the calories are low enough and the protein is high enough..Not great but okay.
How did you do today? Don't beat yourself up if you didn't do how you wanted to do. At the very least, be kind to yourself..

boiled skinless chicken thigh ( cut it up and added it to soup)

Wow...what numbers! You did absolutely awesome..Nice relaxing weekend..Maybe, for us, next weekend. LOL. I had to have a protein bar to help out with the added exercise...And the carbs cuz, that's ready energy.

Hello ladies;TGIF!!! I have to work this weekend at my second job but am still glad it is Friday. I had a nice day; slow at work and some extra time for my daughter. Good luck on the 5K tomorrow! What a nice way to honor your mom. I do the heart walk for my parents as they both died from heart disease. I had an okay day. I am up 5 pounds again and need to get them off. I ran 4 out of the last 7 days and did zumba once. I know I exercise enough; I need to cut back on the food!
B-scrambled aggs w cheese, turkey bacon and small scoop hash browns
S-cottage cheese and NSA fruit ****tail
L-Smuckers PBJ and salad with chicken breast strips with no calorie spritzer salad dressing
S-string cheese, 4 saltines and 1 cup strawberries
S-1 serving sun chips
D-Baja bowl from Taco del Mar without the rice
S-light wheat english muffin w butter and SF strawberry jam
1646 calories, 1293 net, 157 carbs, 101 protein and 54 grams of fat-I logged my food for the first time in months!
All my water, vitamins forgot the darn calcium. I ran for about three miles outside while my daughter was at swim team at the YMCA. It was a beautiful evening. I always wanted to be on swim team but was too self conscious to join. I love that my daughter is so into it. I am bragging here but she is really good for a beginner. She swims one level up and consistently gets first and second place at the swim meets. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I don't think you need to down the calories with all that exercise..You're building muscle. It's got to be! If you try and down your calories with all that exercise, you'll be flat on your face with not enough energy to keep from getting sick! But if you really think that five pounds is a problem...the more energy you use the better.
I did okay on the walk. I finished about 10 minutes earlier than we did last year so we walked quicker, apparently. I'm not nearly as beat as I was last year so that's a good thing. I sure need to do some stretches cuz some of my muscles are hurtin!
