Well, I couldn't do the fasting at all. I tried but it just wasn't to be..It's harder than it looks, folks..I'm going to try again tomorrow.

Funny thing about thinking about doing the 5dpt or fasting..It makes you hungrier than if you were just going to eat that day. I was STARVING all day. I'll try but no promises cuz I hate being hungry.

List for the day:

5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
5:30 am 1/3 cup instant oatmeal, 1/4 cup tvp, 1 cup plain soy milk, 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Raspberry Lemonade
8:15 am 1 oz Mozzarella cheese stick, 1 pc roasted turkey breast deli meat, 1 tsp mustard
8:45 am 11.5 oz espresso coffee canned.
11:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, SoBe Living Tropical
11:30 am 4 oz shrimp, 1 cup lettuce, 1 small tomato, 1 oz zesty italian dressing
11:50 am 3 oz chicken breast grilled, 18 whole grain crackers
1:45 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Wild Strawberry
3:00 pm 1 large grapefruit
4:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Berry

6:00 pm 4 oz porterhouse steak, 1/4 cup mashed potatoes.

I intended to drink the canned coffee with protein added several times today but was rushed into a meeting first thing this morning and so... I didn't do liquids enough. AND I didn't bring enough water and didn't drink enough water. I'm a container short on top of it all.

Then I had crackers. Why oh why did I have crackers? After that, the carb craving was murder. It was all I had to stay away from the left over bagels from yesterday! sigh...well, tomorrow is another day. I get to try again.

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1671
Fat: 52.7
Carbs: 154.9
Protein: 143.8

Still, after all my whining, my protein was 37% and my carbs were quite acceptable at 34%...But beat myself up anyway. WTH?

How did you do today? Are you fighting off the demons or are you trying to drain the swamp of alligators? I hear they taste like chicken..LOL.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

They DO taste like chicken.. LOL! 

I had a boring but good eating day.  The only fish I like is baked flounder and that was not on the list of foods that I'm able to eat so I just had a day of tuna and eggs. I had the flavored tuna that comes in the pouch and it was yummy! 

Day 3...

Early AM:
8 oz of chocolate calorie coutdown milk
10 oz of coffee w/ splenda and half n half

Breakfast: 
Small can of tuna
1scrambled egg w/ cheese

Snack:
SF Jello

Lunch:
3 oz of sweet n spicy tuna
1 boiled egg

Snack:
Protein shake

Dinner:
3.5 oz of garlic n herb tuna
1 boiled egg

Snack:
1  boiled egg
SF Pudding

I didn't do fitday today so I have no clue what my totals are but I'm sure my protein total is super high.
