The world is not a nice place. People are in pain all over the place and food is just a way to deal with it. The post that Kathy A made just broke my heart. I had a good day otherwise.

5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:15 am 1/3 cup instant oatmeal, 1/4 cup tvp, 1 cup plain soy milk, 8 dried strawberries
6:45 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Crystal Light Plus Fiber/Protein
8:00 am 1 oz Mozzarella Cheese Stick, 1 pc roasted turkey breast deli meat, 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
8:30 am 12 oz Drink Mix, SoBe Living Tropical
9:15 am 6 chunks pineapple, 6 medium strawberries, 2 T cream cheese
10:15 am 12 oz Drink Mix, SoBe Living Tropical (1 calcium carbonate chew)
10:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Wild Strawberry
12:15 pm 1 small chicken breast grilled, 1 leaf lettuce, 1 slice tomato, 1 T mayonnaise
1:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Grapefruit Caffeinated
2:35 pm 4 oz Dannon Light n Fit Blackberry Yogurt, 1/8 cup TVP
4:15 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Raspberry Lemonade

6:15 pm 4 oz pork chop, 1 small baked potato

Totals for the day:

Protein: 152.0

I have no idea how or why this works for me. That bothers me alittle.

Hello Dawn! I had a good day too. I did some running around before work then rested a little bit before getting here at 3.

I had another good eating day on the 5 day pouch test but I have to admit, it was a little harder today than yesterday but I hung in there. Tomorrow I get to have tuna!!! I never thought I'd be so excited about some canned fish! LOL 
Easter Candy is starting to float around the nurses station but I'm staying strong!! 

Here's my list for today...

Protein shake

SF Jello
Protein shake
1/2 a can of cream chicken soup
SF Jello
SF Pudding
1/2 a can of cream of chicken soup
SF Pudding
1/2 Cup of Cream of broccoli soup made w/ 4 oz of calorie coutdown milk
12 oz of chocolate calorie countdown milk
SF Pudding w/ half a scoop of protein mixed in.

I tried to keep my calories between 1200 and 1300 like I do daily but I am really full from all the liquids and protein.

We had a birthday celebration for a friend yesterday. It included bagels and the fruit and cream cheese. I ate the fruit and cream cheese...That wasn't the case last time but that quarter bagel I ate made me feel so ill...So I'm choosing to remember that and not how good they used to taste to me.

Stay strong about the Easter Candy. I resist it all day long and when I get home, I have my one piece of Sugar Free Russell Stovers...That's always a good thing.

Keep up the good work. I'm going to try adding some protein shakes today and stay away from the solid food. I've brought all sorts of soft stuff. I'm going to give it a try.
