re: Lap band post bypass

Has anyone ever had a lap band done after having gastric bypass.  I have gained 60 pounds back and the doctor was suggesting this

I haven't but I'm interested if someone else has. Did the Dr say why you have gained the weight back?

I had knee problems, screwed  one knee up and could not exercise and had  knee replacements and a shoulder replacement.  Got out of the exercise routine and back into old habits.  I am exercising at leadt 4 times a week now and trying to watch diet but no weight lost

there is a new procedure out called stoma fix. they go with a scope down your throat with a little claw, enter itno your stomach, and pull the inside of your stomach together to make it smaller. it's a very easy surgery. and yes i have heard of ppl getting lab band due to gaining there weight back. do you think your stomach has stretched or do you not eat the right food? I ask because I had rny on oct 13th, my worst fear is gaining my weight back.

Having an upper endoscopy tomorrow and he will measure by pouch.  Got into bad habits mostly gazing.  I still cannot eat an entire sandwich but can eat a fair amount of salad but can eat again in a hour.  Stressful job but it is a job
