Did she mean one cup total, including protein - how much protein do you eat per day? I would also be confused!

I'm sorry you got some confusing information, but I'm a little confused myself.  You are five years post-op and have no idea how much protein you get in a day.  How are you doing with labs, weight, etc.?  One cup of food per meal sounds like too little food.  What kinds of foods are you eating?

I drink 2-3 protein shakes per day to make sure I get in a lot of protein.  I'm three years post-op and am doing very well.

I think 1 cup of food per meal sounds right.
