We went to see my daughter and son-in-law's house they just put into escrow...It's going to be alot of work (it's a bank repo) but these days, young kids, that's all they can hope for...It's not bad. 3 bedrooms, 1.75 bath (two showers) and a nice backyard with a couple of mature trees. We'll see what happens with the inspection tomorrow...

So, I had to eat out tonight..I just couldn't see another chicken meal so I had the pastrami...shouldn't have. my tummy is on strike, I thin****ep feeling like it's burping back but it's not...Just in my mind..

List for the day:

6:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

6:30 am oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, apple sauce

7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Wild Strawberry

8:00 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 1 medium pear

9:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
10:10 am Chili Relleno Casserole (1/6 the recipe)
11:15 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Raspberry Ice
12:00 pm 1 medium roasted chicken leg and thigh...
12:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Raspberry Lemonade
2:10 pm 1 medium grapefruit
2:40 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Wild Berry Caffeinated
3:50 pm 1 hard boiled egg
4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Cherry Pomegranate

6:30 pm 1 medium pastrami sandwich (including the bread, not my brightest idea) and some popcorn they put on the table. Full tummy...not so good.

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1528
Fat: 50.8
Carbs: 155.9
Protein: 116.7

I think their calcs on the sandwich are way off...217 calories...I think that's alittle low.

You still did really well! You are so consistant with your counts and journaling...That's to be commended.

You are maintaining with this list/trend? I would be betting you are. Good work!

Will you be around next week? We'll be on our first cruise from Monday to Friday..You can do the accountability if you have time?

See ya!

Thank you very, very much for the compliment's, Dawn! I am maintaining. My weight has been stable for a while now and I'm so proud of that.

I had a notebook by my bed every night and I plan my next eating day and I try very hard to stick to it. For me, that is what works! I do have off days like yesterday's dinner.

Sure, I will do the accountability post for you starting Monday! Enjoy the cruise.. I'm so jealous!

I spend 15-20 minutes packing my lunch bag each morning, doing the same thing! Focus on the protein...Mix in the good carbs (fruit) and think about it...THINK about it. It's hard to get a varied diet going. And I would tend to over do it if I didn't plan for all my food.

I just don't think I could stick to a straight diet of chicken or tuna or shrimp either... I so hated tuna for so long when I had it each and every day....blah..I can eat it again but it's been a year and a half! LOL.

I'm taking the whole week off of journaling my food so I'm hoping I do okay. I'll know when I weigh myself on Friday. We'll see.

Thanks!

I have never had pastrami! I amnot sure I want to try it now; is it the fat that bothered you or the bread? I had an o.k day could of been better could of been worse. Work is so stressful; I feel ill from the anxiety.
B-Starbucks low fat turkey bacon sandwich
S-100 cal honey grahams
L-onion burger patty-no bun and creamed spinach
S-3 girl scout cookies and baked cheetos; not at the same time
D-6 inch subway club on wheat after running and before zumba; bad idea should of waited or had a lite snack
S-raison cookie from Subway after Zumba
Actually after writing it iall down I realize i sucked! I did run two miles while Moragn was in tap then did an hour of Zumba while she was in swim team but still way too many carbs and not enough protein. I will be more mindful of my eating tomorrow;yikes!

I did NOT know that Starbucks had sandwiches...Hmmm. I may be hitting them when we get back. A coworker gave me a gift card at Christmas but I've just been thinking they have coffee and I have a hard time (in my mind) buying a cup of coffee for $4...LOL. cheapo me!

I'm not sure if it was the fat or the bread or the salt...This morning I'm up a pound and a half. I'm sure it's the salt in it.

I think you have to have at least some carbs to work out the way you do...I hate stress because it makes me feel nauseous and then I don't eat at all.

I really believe that journaling makes you more aware of what you put into your system..It really helps.

You keep up the good work, those carbs will be banished! See ya.

Hi Dawn,
I was incredibly busy at work yesterday and tried eating on the run.  Had to get my calories in later in the day which I don't like to do.  Did pretty good with my protein intake but way too low getting in fluids.  Thursday is another day and I will do better.  Also, I will be able to go jogging after work and already looking forward to that.  I like that I am anticipating my time out jogging.  It is my time to clear my head and get all my thoughts together.  Who would have thought that this fattie would be looking forward to huffing, puffing and sweating for an hour to get her head together.  Where do you find Cherry Promegraneate drinks?  Sounds good!  Shelli

Cherry Pomegranate is a flavor of Crystal Light. I lucked out and found packages of it at our local 99 cents store and bought $40 of them..LOL.

You do really good to have a protein each time you have a carb...Good job!

Yeah, jogging or long distance running is a great way to get your head together. While your muscles are getting a smooth work our, you put the body on auto pilot and the brain has time to just cruise...It's worked for me for years. I just haven't had time or good enough weather...I'm sure that's a cop-out but it's all I have.

You won't be a "fatty" for too long with that sort of activity..You'll be a "skinny minnie" in no time..

Keep up the good work. See ya.
