I am nearly 9 years out from RNY.  I have gained about 45 lbs. in the past 2 years.  I am back to eating sweets, which I am sure is the issue b/c my meal intake is still very low.  Any help on how to curb the sweet tooth and get back on track.  It is no longer an issue of looks, it;s how I feel.

You have to find the resolve to get the sweets out of your house and out of your life..It really takes self control. If you are journaling your intake it should show the increase in calories due to the sugar...When you want the sugar, you need to do something else.

Good luck.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Try the 5 day pouch test, It will get rid of the cravings. I have to do it every once in awhile. It also resets the sensitivity of the pouch. It even gave me back the ability to dump!

www.5daypouchtest.com I think is the link. If that doesnt work,,go to the main forum and ask. there is usually someone on there doing it.

Grazing and sweets are murder!  Empty your house of these enemies, and then get your fanny walking!

Be sure to journal everything you eat, and count the calories, and proteins;  this really helps to get a handle on your intake.

Good luck!
