Vitamins...How much and when to take them?
I take about 100 pills/day. But my mind set is different. I lost 150 lbs, so I can take 150 pills. no big deal. And I don't look to see how few, but how good I can feel. And I obsess over my lab numbers. I'm not settling for "WNL" that medical ppl will find to be "fine". I want THE BEST levels of everything, because everything affects everything which affects everything else and so on.
I don't take a specific brand, but do take specific elements. Bearing in mind that the first so called "bariatric" vitamin**** the market when I was 8 yrs post-op, so what was being CALLED bariatric wasn't really much more than a mutli vite then, didn't deliver any iron, not enough of any single element to do anybody any good.
So, I stick with the cheapo method. I take specifically what I need with a pair of basic multis. So, iron, calcium, A, D, E, K, copper, zinc, the whole B family and so on.
