Accountability - Saturday
I did unbelieveable horrible on Saturday. Not only did we have guests out but I had two glasses of wine and forgot to put out the salad and the garlic bread...I totally wigged out and forgot. Now this morning I'm sporting a hang over (not enough water, that's for sure) and feeling really guilty. ARGH.
List for the day:
B: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, papaya
2B: 3 egg omelet with cheese and bacon, grits...not sure how much. Figure a cup.
L: 1 oz cheese stick, 1 slice turkey breast. 3 oz pork ham, 2T reduced fat peanut butter and 17 pc whole grain crackers
D: about a cup of tortilla chips, 1/3 cup salsa, at least a cup of home made lasagna. 2 glasses of wine.
Totals for the day:
Calories: 2873
FatZ: 95.5
Carbs: 261.5
Protein: 144.5
That wine is a killer! 569 calories! Hey, it's fun but it sure is expensive!
The occasion was the viewing of the space station flying directly over head at 7:56 pm last night. We saw it and it was spectacular...Had a great time...Just feel really guilty this morning. I didn't get falling down drunk or slurring my speech drunk...Didn't do anything stupid other than forgetting about the salad and the bread (which was my ONLY contribution to the meal...blew it!)
I did make refrigerator cookies for everyone and I didn't have any but I sure carbed out! Today is my day of redemption.
How did you do?

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

You deserve a splurge once in a while. I hope your head is feeling better by now. I did fair until I for some reason had the feeling my BS was low at bedtime. I was actaully in bed and got that feeling; shaky and just "not right". I had a pancake at dinner with SF syrup is the only carb thing I did. after typing up my list below I realized I had a small bowl of cereal. It was probably the combo of cereal and milk. It rarely sits well with me but I keep trying for some stupid reason.I will watch it today.
B-steel cut oats w protein powder and splenda
S-1/2 low carb tortilla w shaved turkey and lite swiss, banana
L-at IKEA swedish meatballs, veggies and a few bites mashed taters
S-serving of trail mix
D-scrambled eggs w cheese, bacon and 1 small pancake with SF syrup
S-Kashi cereal w skim milk
snacks after geeling low on blood sugar
peanutbutter and 100 cal pack of honey graham crisps
All my vits and water and I ran two miles in the morning and we walked a mile at least atIKEA.

Could be the total of all of those from dinner on...Carbs usually cause a hypoglycemic reaction in me. I know that feeling too...the shaky-not-feeling right....Some days if I have the wrong fruit in my oatmeal in the mornings (bananas - raisins) I'll get that in two hours and have to have a cheese stick before we can even leave to go to church. It wasn't an issue today...no church due to hangover but that's no excuse...
Walking (actually shopping) is my favorite form of exercise. Today I even got to run from one end of Walmart to the other to replace a container of Sugar Free Calcium Chews that was open...I never notice until I'm in line already..
You still did really good! AND you ran two miles. That's awesome! Keep up the good work. See ya.
