Hi everybody:

It has been three years since I started this wonderful journey of ups and downs.  I started out at 306 lbs. and lost down to 155 lbs at 5'5" tall.  I briefly saw 147 lbs. when I did the 5 day pouch test but quickly recovered back to my 155 lbs.  My only complication through out this trip was that I had an incisional hernia last June 2008.  Since that surgery and until now I have had a weight gain of about 10 lbs. So currently, I am holding at 165 lbs.  I hope to get these 10 lbs back off with Spring just around the corner but if I don't it will be okay.  This has been an amazing journey and one that I glad that I took.  I hope that each day brings to all of us great success or at least satisifaction that we did the best that we could do that day.  I am mostly a lurker on OB but I look and read everyday and enjoy being a part of this community.  I hope everyone continues to post and to keep us lurkers avid readers.  Thanks again.

Awesome! You've done an awesome job! You've lost just about half your whole body weight...That boggles the mind!
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Highest Weight: 240
Now: 125.6

Congrats, my 3 year is on the 23rd. I started at 254 and breifly saw 158. I am now 178 ,20 pound weight gain that wont budge, so consider yourself lucky with only 10. They say a 10% - 15 % regain is commen. Im not happy with my gain which has centered around my middle, none of my shorts fit from last year, but Im working on it. I hate the thought of buying a larger size but may have to, dont want to look like a stuffed potatoe. Good luck, Deb

I'm with you Deb.  I hate the thought of buying new clothes.  That is new clothes in a "larger" size.  So I'm going to try to get those extra pounds off too.
Good luck for you and me.
