I guess I missed the memo on the chili...Quite a few lists with chili on them. LOL.

I didn't have an exciting day, really. But I did notice that the shrimp that I ate instead of the apple and deli meat brought my protein total up like crazy...I'm thinking that might be my new snack - two ounces instead of four...

Each time I've seen that crock pot chicken mentioned I've meant to ask how you make it...Can you share the recipe?

Have a good weekend. You're doing great. See ya.

I don't really have a recipe. I got a new crock pot when I was about a year out from surgery and at that time, chicken was the only meat that I could tolerate so I started experimenting.

I like to use boneless/skinless chicken thighs and skinless chicken drumsticks but I'm sure you could use whatever part of the chicken you want.

1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder and Italian season then put in bottom of crock pot.

2. Put strips of onions, strips of green bell pepper and chopped garlic on top of chicken.

3. Pour one jar of No Sugar Added spaghetti sauce on top of chicken and veggies.

4. Let it cook til chicken is ready

5. Serve with shredded Low Fat Mozzarella cheese on top

6. Enjoy

B) EAS protein drink
L) Salad bar and 1 mini burger from Ruby Tuesday. My poodle got the other one.
S) Bowl of chili with 4 crackers
S) SF pudding cup
D) 4 shrimp scampi, about 1/4 cup popcorn shrimp, 1/4 cup fried rice, 3 brussel sprouts.

Seems like dinner was huge!  I got in the usual vitamins, enough fluids, and protein looks ok. I think I'm creeping up on carbs lately. hmmmmm.
Ima visit Fitday for a few days and see what's up!

ETA: I also had the insides of a beef burrito, and about 1/4 of the wrap. Yeah the carbs are attacking me!

AW! I bet the poodle LOVES you being on a restricted intake! I know my little dogs sure do. when we come home from the restaurant, they're all lined up, sitting like good little boys, waiting..LOL. Too cute NOT to give them scraps.

It seems amazing to me that even a few carbs will get you craving the stuff...But it's crazy true...

My protein number jumped like crazy when I substituted the shrimp for the usual apple and turkey deli meat...I've grown to LOVE shrimp in the last year. Alittle ****tail sauce and shrimp...I'm a happy girl.

Keep up the good work. It will dial in soon. See ya.

Yeah, 69 is a pretty low number for protein..I'm not sure where the drop was. The spaghetti? Seems wrong. Something had high carbs...

I feel better when I get higher protein too..I really need a kick in the ass to get back on that wii. It's not like marathon exercise. It's really simple and fun. Why can't I get going? Any excuse will do...

You keep after it. See ya.
