Awesome day...Back to work after four days!

5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

6:00 am oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, mashed papaya
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Grapefruit
8:00 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 1 pc smoked turkey breast
9:00 am 2 ****tail weiners, 2 oz chicken thigh meat (sweet/sour), 1/2 cup egg fritata
10:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Cherry Pomegranate
11:30 am 1 cup grapes, raw
12:30 pm 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
1:00 pm 12 oz Drink Mix, Grapefruit Caffienated
2:30 pm 1 hardboiled egg, 1 slice ham, 1 slice american cheese
3:15 pm 12 oz Drink Mix, Grapefruit Caffienated
4:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Grapefruit (regular)

6:00 pm 1 cup Tuna Helper Creamy Broccoli with double tuna.

My percentage is 32% protein for the day. Not bad. I'm not exactly happy with my weight on the scale this morning but that's because I did next to nothing for four days...So I walked a bit more today. Maybe hit the wii tonight.

Another busy day at work.  Also met with my therapist and spent the hour discussing how thin I have become to the point of looking gaunt.  He wants me to try to eat more but I am still pretty restricted on my volume.  He wants me around 1500cal.  My surgeon says 1200-1500 so I am to aim for the higher amount.  My weight today was 127 lbs.  I am down 5 lbs in 3 weeks.  I know that is a lot especially this far out.  Overstressed at work has left me pretty anxious.  Since I can't overeat I am working off the anxiety with exercise which has lead to more weight loss.  I am not concerned because I know at some point I will have a rebound weight gain.  But I am hearing from several people how "bad" I am starting to look. 

0430:  Rice cake with peanut butter
0530 Hazelnut coffee
0700:  dark chocolate protein shake
0930:  Oatmeal
1200:  salad and black-eyed pea jambalaya
1530: Noodless low-carb lasagne
1800:  SF carmel frappacino
2000: 1.5 ounces nuts
2100:  1/3 cup chicken, refried beans and rice

Protein:  ~65 gms  (very low today, usually I am much higher)
Calories:  No sure after lunch but ~1200-1300

It really depends on if you are at your goal weight. Has your surgeon said you're done yet? What is your goal weight? I weighed 122 at 11 months out and THEN the surgeon told me to eat more. I'm five feet five inches tall. Now I weigh 130 but I've had to increase my intake to 1500 to 1800 calories a day.

Maybe we can add some items in places or give you a clue where you can increase..Maybe eat more often instead of more at eat sitting? I can eat a half hour after or right after I drink something. I keep strictly to the rule not to drink after I eat at least a half hour. Are you using that rule? 

You know, rice cakes are pretty much a nothing food. Maybe wheat crackers? They're more dense and have more calories.

I'm thinking you're having hazelnut coffee when you get to work? can you drink a protein shake on the way to work and then have a little snack after the coffee instead of the protein shake? 

Add some fruit (like apple sauce or mashed banana) to the oatmeal? They make those packets of applesauce that are no sugar added (I use those) plus I put protein in my oatmeal too.

chicken or meat on the salad..Less lettuce, more meat (lettuce has NO calories. I think you use up more chewing it than is in it).

Your list looks really tasty! Keep it up...You'll bounce back up alittle and it will level out. Especially with the exercise..Good job.

Snack: Turkey sausage patty

Lunch: Ham, cheese, lettuce & ff mayo in a low carb wheat tortilia & WW Yogurt

Snack: South Beach diet protein cereal bar

Dinner: Crock pot chicken parmasean & steamed asparagus

Snack: Akins cafe Latte shake

B) 2 eggs, big slice turkey breakfast ham
S) Lunchables(?)  Junior snack pack with cheese, turkey, tiny crackers-  110 cal, 6g protein, 6 g carbs, I liked it!
L) Grilled chicken salad with cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers and full fat 1000 Island
S) 2 SF popcicles
D) 3 shrimp, 2 small fish filets, 1/2  crab cake, 1 tablespoon cole slaw
S) SF popcicles

All my vitamins and supplements, about 90 oz fluids, Benefiber twice a day.

VERY GOOD!  Salad=roughage...protein like crazy at each meal...SF popcicles. I have some of those here in my freezer but with the temps at 30 degrees in the mornings...I'm just not thinking popcicles but later in the day, like before or after wii....I can see that. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. I had gained a couple of pounds , so I've been concentrating on protein, and low carb meals and snacks. I dropped those pounds very quickly. Now I'm just making sure I'm staying on the best meal plan for me to be where I want to be.
I think if I make it mostly protein, with plenty of flavor ( fat and spices!) and have my splurge days occasionally, I won't have a problems with regain.

I like the jr lunchables too! I use to smuggle them in the movie theatre or take to my daughter swim meet! I haven't had one in a while I'll have to add it to my next grocery list!

Hello, glad you are feeling better. My cold has worked its way down to my chest. The nose stuff is much better thank goodness! The skin under my nose is red and raw!

all my water all my vitamins except that darn calcium! No exercise.
