What qualifies you as a graduate?

Do you need to be at a certain time out from surgery or have made it to your goal weight?  I will be a year in April and am 2 lbs below the weight my surgery felt I would reach (total lost 121 lbs).  I am still averaging 1 lb per week weight loss.  I like reading the board and think the continued accountability will help me to keep the weight off.  Thanks.  Shelli

I think being a "grad" means you are at least one year post-op. Although I don't think they are too strict with #'s.

Congrats on the amazing loss.

I started doing pretty much the same at 11 months out. At that time I was searching for a way to maintain and stay accountable. Carla W was doing the accountability, so I joined in and I've been doing it now for about 7-8 months. Carla moved on to her own business and was too busy...So I do it along with others. If I don't post, someone else starts the thread..We do it to stay accountable and keep in contact. I'm off to post now.

Welcome Shelli!  Congrats on your success!

I think we should re-name the board-- the Maintenance Board.  It doesn't really make any difference how far out you are or how much you've lost.  We're all about the challenges of maintaining and staying healthy.
