Well, another day home sick. I still have a head so stuffed with snot that I can't concentrate. Didn't get enough water but I did okay on my counts.

B: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, 1/2 cup apple sauce

S: 1 oz cheese stick

S: 2 small grapefruits

L: tuna salad sandwich on the last two thin slices of black rye bread.

S: 2 - 24 oz drinks

D: 2 flour tortilla tacos, beef and chicken and cheese

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1604
Fat: 50.9
Carbs: 170.7
Protein: 122.4

Not too bad. Not enough water but I did get in enough protein, I think.

Now if I could get this tooth to quit hurting.

I came down with a wicked cold too! I must have been weak from that flu, I do not usually get sick that often but especially not this close together. I am congested but the itchy watery sneezy stuff is more annoying.
B-Oatmeal
s-sf choc pudding
L-1/2 panini
S-1/2 panini
S 4 girl scout cookies
D-2 slices papa murphy delight veggie pizza
S-not sure yet, need some more protein
I am off to the YMCA so my daughter can do swim team. I am going to try to run since Ihave not done anything since Monday and Ihave to work 12 hours both saturday and Sunday at my new job, then return to my usual job on Monday. I feel tired thinking about it but will take one day at a time. I am grateful for the opportunity to work we need the money since DH i s still laid off. I think I got all my water, if not I will  have after the Y I always dring 16-24 ounces of water. I got all my vitamins and calcium. I have been taking the Zicam rapid melt every three hours hoping to get this cold to end sooner. Second day cannot tell if it is working or not.

I tried the zicam but I guess I didn't keep after it enough...It's aweful and I'm miserable. Eyes running, sneezing, coughing...I hope this goes away soon..

Start back to the gym slowly...take it easy on your body for a while till the cold is on the run...

Sorry to hear aobut your husband. Things are really tough right now.

Keep up the good work. Your list looks okay for trying to ditch a cold. I really think my body craves carbs when I need them that bad..Just be careful it's body hunger and not head hunger..But I think you've got it.

Aww, Sorry you still not feeling good. I hope you feel better tomorrow and enjoy your weekend! 

Early AM: Akins Cafe Latte Shake

Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs

Snack: Beef jerky

Lunch: South beach diet chicken buffalo plzza .. yummy new flavor

Snack: Bag of FF lays chips.. feeling snacky but only 75 calories.

Dinner: 1 baked chicken thigh, 1/3 c. of brown rice & 1/2 c. of collards

Snack: WW Yogart


I'm low on calories today but I'm going out with friends tonight so I know at least a couple beers and a shot of something!

You're right about the numbers being low but you've allowed for a night out so...It's going to work just fine!

I'm hoping I can get enough water to handle the antihistamines. My record for the weekends isn't ususally good but I won't be doing much running round this weekend so maybe I can up the water...

thank you i am trying to be good... yes its very hard for me.. next time i will just write out my fitday on my note pad page. yes its hard for me to read also.. the scale did say 156 now its 153 so i am doing something right... woo hoo... Anita

I do pretty much the same thing when I'm at work. I email myself with the list and continue to reply to myself (from: me; to: me. LOL) to keep track of all that I eat and update my fitday as I go a couple times a day. Then after dinner I do the final update on fit day, copy my email to myself, add what I had for dinner and then post it as accountability...with a second window open so I can read the totals at the bottom and type the totals on the accountability thread...
