I have an appointment with my doc Monday,  Here is my problem: I am two 1/2 years out for RNY
I exercise 3 times a week, a lot of tuna, shrimp chicken (main staples), vegies. Caloric intake at 1200 to 1500. I don't drink soda, I drink all my water(not with my food), my thyroid was good last we checked, I take all my vitamins. I had a complete hysterectomy 2 years ago, starting gaining weight, first I blamed my weight gain on that.. plus I wasn't sleeping well. Now sleeping is under control and iweight is still going up. I have done the 5DPT  and mostly it proves to me my restriction is still there, I still eat on a small plate and measure my food. Any suggestions, any thing you have went through similar??   HelpThe more effort I make to reverse this the worse it gets. My Blood pressure is good, if so was everything else,

How much protein do you take in supplements?

Which vites?

How many carbs/sugars do you eat?

Meal size and how many?

Good questions. Because I eat mainly shrimp, fish, tuna and chicken as main staples, my protein stays between 70-100. Or I have Protein bullets on hand for strange days. No added sugars, no soda. Natural sugars 9-10mg , centrum vitamins. My blood work in October was straight down the middle except for my iron which was on the lower side of normal, so I have added Bariatric iron chewables at the advice of my doctor. And my cholesterol was a little high, I but I think that is from the shrimp.

Vitamins A, D, E, K?
Calcium, zinc?

I'm asking to see what you are missing that your body is trying to find in your food. If you are getting 30% of your food protein, you could be coming up short. Bullets are not a best source of protein, just so-so.

On your labs, do you see levels for vit A, D, B1, B12, zinc? PTH? ferritin?
