Happy Valentine's Day 

I was looking at the calendar this week and it hit me we are really only 8 weeks away from spring and all the cool clothes, outside fun and all.  Take a look in the mirror, if you are happy with what you see WAY TO GO...  If not, then I invite you to join me in my 8 week Spring Fling  Workout Challenge.

I am going to start on Monday Feb. 16, with a full out blast of cardio and weight lifting workouts.  I want to put sexy back in the mirror when I shed those winter clothes and look great

I will be posting my workouts in detail under the Move To Lose thread.  Come on...you can do it

Hi Kathleen,

Your right, Carol Stream is north of my area isn't it?  Cool Beans    That was what I was thinking...it was yikes!  While I can't wait for the spring it was like, I want to get in shape before we start shedding clothes.  And when the weather is warm and nice we get out adn really stay in shape.

Awesome,  your vacation will be a great motivator

Count me in!!!  Been feeling way too sorry for myself because I'm losing my job and let the depression take over....been a couch potato for too long!  My niece's wedding is April 11th and I'd like to lose a bit of weight to fit back into a beautiful dress I have.

I did a 2 mile walking DVD today to get myself back into the swing of things.

Awwww MaryEllen, I am so sorry to hear about your job loss.  I  have been there done that and trust me you get in that dark place and it's so hard to get back up.  One of the things that helps and I know it sounds nutty, but working out helps you with feeling better about things and dealing with stress... 

We are so glad you are joining us and AWESOME job on the walking you did.  Way ahead of me girl, I didn't workout today

You are so right about how hard it is get out of the dark hole.  And it is true that working out does make me feel better....it's just making myself get to the point where I actually get up and do it!  It's so easy to make an excuse or find a reason why I can't work out!   Plus I think that winter time and seasonal affective disorder plays a big part in how I'm feeling too.  Can't wait for spring and for the daylight to get longer!!

Greetings Ladies,
     Count me in, I am supposed to be going on a golfing trip with my very handsome sig other and i'd honestly like my thighs to look great in some of those really cute golf skorts!!! i was just looking at my thighs in the mirror and i thought YIPES!!! okay it's time to get serious, the trip is in March (the 18th) and ofcourse golf lasts all summer long and into the fall...goodbye thighs!!!
