Hi Anita,
If you are enjoying WW and their meetings/support group and the accountability of having to weigh in then it will work for you. It's the support that helps and going every week and weighing in. Maybe you are one that has to "pay to lose" also. Either way you are a success and winner.

I had done WW several times, spent lots of money, lost almost 100 pounds and guess what, somehow I lost my motivation and having to constantly pay money to get weighed and listen to "reruns" because I had gone there for so long and they just generate the same material.

Now, I'm a revision to RNY, and get my support from 2 different Bariatric Support Groups. Jen's group is more for "head stuff" and Ben's group is for education and accountablility. I go to both groups because I need that support or I offer support. I'm a size 8 now, exercise everyday and follow the rules.

We all have different needs. I think your needs are being met. WW is a good program! Yes it's safe for us and yes you will lose the weight.

Good for you Anita. Keeping track of points is just like journaling and being aware of what you put in your mouth. I'm also a sweet eater, I don't deprive myself but I do love chocolate. A little bit won't hurt you but if you keep going back for more that's when the weight gain starts.

154 is not a lot of weight, remember where you came from, how much you use to weigh. Your extra pounds will come off, but it will be slower. Slower is good. This is not a race and this is for lifetime.

Keep posting, you will get support here. Are you attending a bariatric support group now? If not, try and find one in your area. There are a lot of people who are going through what you are.

Good luck following the WW program. You might want to consider breaking up your points into 6 small meals a day instead of 3.
