My Time Has Come

Well yay for you!  Was wondering what ever happened to you...Last I heard you went away on a trip south of de border  ( I think) and I thought you found some hot tamale and ran away with him....Or something exotic like that!  LOL

Read some of your blogs and was thoroughly entertained as usual!  Good to see you relaxing a LOT on eating and food policing!  I did the same...I feel and do sooooo much better at ease!  But sometimes you just gotta do what ya gotta do and getting out the food police works when you need it to!

But anyway...Congrats on the upcoming surgery!  You are so tiny! And I know you're gonna be so much happier without the flaps, curtains and girl balls and such!  LOL  You nut!

Nice to see ya!

hehehe Hi Anita :)

Well I honestly do NOT think you can lose almost 200 pounds, even after gastric bypass, without being super religious with the food journalling (unless you start out at 600 pounds). SMO females who are happy with being just obese post op need not follow my stringent rules :) I even know a couple females who have been as tough as I with the food intake and never reached a normal weight post op. Starting super big can be a lot harder than people expect, even when taing "the easy way out".

Uggg I can not WAIT to get this stuff taken off me.. in moments of crazy I have considered hacking it off myself and just going to the ER to make them fix it NOW. There are a lot of hygenic and clothing issues with were my excess skin lays :( Not to mention when I lay down in bed on my back I look like a skin puddle and when I lay on my side the skin folds over, creating a nice lil habitat for germy bacteria which breaks my skin out :(

can ya tell Im in a whiney mood today??? :P

Thanks for the well wishes babty :)
HUGS

Let me tell you, I'm not looking forward to my PS marathon in June, either.  Having had the RNY, the gallbladder, the emergency bowel gutting, and now the non-anesthesia facial plastics, I'd be plenty happy to stay the hell out of an OR for a decade or two. And I expect the recovery for the two further rounds (June-- arms, belly and breasts and next June, thighs) of plastics to be brutal-- and take up the next two years of summer vcations and every blessed cent I own.

Well--- at least I don't worry about regain----because if it came to that I'd have to jump off a freakin' cliff after all I have invested in this odyssey. ;)

You'll be cool, sistah.

reeeeeeeeeeeegain???? wtf is that??? some wls myth I think... I was so stressed last week I lost 9 pounds in 5 days and though Ive been killing myself to get a hold on it Im basically holding the low weight without losing anymore :( If I lose 2 more pounds I will be in the "NO surgery for you!! come back in 1 year!" category :( That CANNOT happen *silent screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeam*

omg just put me into a coma till feb 2nd pleeeeeeeeeeeease??? can you say stress much? LOL

I am not in that category, and I'm a tad envious--- I am more or less done losing, I think-- at 158 pounds. I thought maybe with the extended RNY I'd be closer to 150 and keep losing (keep in mind I have 15-20 pounds of skin, we think) but I think maybe this is all she wrote. At 1200 cals a day. Drat.

Two words-- and it's my answer to everything: PEANUT BUTTER!

mmmmmmm PB... how you get to be so smart shari????? I hadnt even thought of that...

Seriously I am SO F'n stressed Im am shrivelled up inside like a new op!! I had the FOAMIES twice last week cause I ate like I normally do and OMG I must have blocked out how miserable that was for the first 6 months post op :P Of course it helped me lose then and was a good thing now its just 1 more thing to stress over..

Im not gonna get in the calorie debates today ;) I steadily upped my cals post op until I got to a normal place. By times this caused a temporary weight gain that would send most people back to the safety of their previous calorie range. I waited it out every time and lost the gain within a month.

If I keep losing like this he wont have 10 pounds left to cut off of me.. that's not such a bad thiing right :P

BTW 158 for you is about 145 for me so we're at the same place right now... sooo neeeener neeeeener
